The display substrate includes a substrate, pixel units, at least one blocking dam and a first encapsulation layer. The pixel units is disposed on the substrate and located in the active area. The at least one blocking dam is disposed on the substrate and located in the frame area. The at least one blocking dam is provided with at least one groove on a surface thereof facing away from the substrate, a depth direction of the at least one groove is perpendicular to the substrate, and an extending direction of the at least one groove is substantially the same as an extending direction of the blocking dam provided with the at least one groove. The first encapsulation layer covers the at least one blocking dam.

The pixel circuit includes a light-emitting element, a driving unit, a light-emitting control unit, a driving control unit, an energy storage unit, a first reset unit and a second reset unit, the first reset unit is configured to write a first voltage output by a first voltage line into a first terminal of the driving unit under control of the reset control line; the second reset unit is configured to write an initial voltage output by an initial voltage line into a control terminal of the driving unit under control of the reset control line; the driving unit is configured to drive the light-emitting element to emit light under control of the control terminal of the driving unit.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a pixel circuit, a driving method thereof, and a display panel. The pixel circuit comprises: a light-emitting element; a driving sub-circuit configured to generate a current for driving the light-emitting element to emit light; and a first and a second light emission controlling sub-circuit, configured to supply the current for driving the light-emitting element to emit light to a first terminal of the light-emitting element under a control of a first controlling signal, respectively; a driving controlling sub-circuit configured to provide a data signal to the driving sub-circuit under a control of a second controlling signal; and the resetting sub-circuit configured to reset the driving sub-circuit, the first terminal of the light-emitting element, and a second node with a first voltage, under a control of a first resetting signal and a second resetting signal.
