Methods, devices and non-transitory machine readable storage mediums for displaying coronary arteries are provided. In one aspect, a method includes: obtaining a coronary artery model of the coronary arteries, obtaining values of one or more coronary artery parameters of the coronary artery model according to the coronary artery model, determining colors corresponding to the values of the one or more coronary artery parameters, and acquiring a pseudo-color coronary artery model of the coronary arteries by displaying the coronary artery model with the determined colors.

Methods and devices for cutting a three-dimensional image are disclosed. According to one example of the methods, a region of interest may be selected from an original three-dimensional image. A mesh model of the region of interest may be constructed. Then, distance field information and a shape index characteristic value of each mesh point in the mesh model may be obtained. A set of initiation points and a set of termination points may be obtained by splitting the mesh model according to the distance field information. Afterward, a mixed cost value of each mesh point may be obtained according to the distance field information, the shape index characteristic value and an image value of each mesh point. In this way, a cutting path may be determined from the set of initiation points and the set of termination points according to the mixed cost value.

Methods, systems, and apparatus including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for rendering an expanded lumen image are disclosed. The methods include extracting a center line of a lumen from a three-dimensional lumen image and obtaining a plurality of viewpoints by sampling the center line, establishing a spherical projection plane for each of the viewpoints, a point on the spherical projection plane corresponding to a point on an inner wall of the lumen, determining a relationship between a two-dimensional projection plane and the inner wall of the lumen according to a corresponding relationship between the spherical projection plane and the two-dimensional projection plane, and obtaining a two-dimensional expanded image of the three-dimensional lumen image by performing image rendering on the two-dimensional projection plane according to the determined relationship between the two-dimensional projection plane and the inner wall of the lumen.

A three-dimensional cardiac image segmentation method and apparatus are provided according to examples of the present disclosure. The method includes: searching from layers of cardiac computerized tomography CT images to obtain a layer of cardiac CT image located between a heart bottom portion and a heart upper portion as a first key layer; searching on the first key layer to obtain a boundary of the heart as a contour of the heart bottom portion, and generating a curved surface model based on the contour of the heart bottom portion and a lowest point of the heart bottom portion as a heart bottom model; searching layers of cardiac CT images above the first key layer to obtain boundaries of the heart as a contour of the heart upper portion, and generating a curved surface model based on the contour of the heart upper portion as a heart upper model.
