The present application discloses a liquid crystal display panel and a method of manufacturing the same. The liquid crystal display panel includes a pixel area, and further includes: a glass substrate serving as a light guide plate; a reflective layer disposed on a side of the light guide plate; a grating structure disposed on a side of the light guide plate away from the reflective layer, and corresponding to the pixel area; a planarization layer disposed on a side of the grating structure away from the light guide plate; and a thin-film transistor layer disposed on a side of the planarization layer away from the light guide plate.

The present application provides a flexible display panel, a manufacturing method of the flexible display panel, and an electronic device. The flexible display panel includes an elastic substrate, main pixel islands, and auxiliary pixel islands. When the elastic substrate is in a natural state, the main pixel islands enclose a light emitting side of the auxiliary pixel islands to receive the auxiliary pixel islands. When the elastic substrate is in a stretched state, the main pixel islands are away from the auxiliary pixel islands to expose the auxiliary pixel islands, and the auxiliary pixel islands cooperate with the main pixel islands for displaying images. Accordingly, the present application increases a pixel density of a stretched portion of the flexible display panel.

A display panel and a mobile terminal are provided. The display panel has an effective display area and a non-effective display area disposed in sequence. The non-effective display area has a transition area. Two adjacent first island-shaped structures in the effective display area are connected by bridge-shaped structures. The first island-shaped structures and the binding member in the non-effective display area are connected by the bridge-shaped structures in the transition area, and in a direction from the effective display area to the non-effective display area, a width value of the bridge-shaped structures in the transition area gradually increases.

A curved display module is provided, which includes a stretchable display panel and a first support layer. The stretchable display panel includes a plurality of pixel islands and a connection bridge configured for connecting adjacent two of the pixel islands. A four-sided curved 3D stereo display panel is realized by the present disclosure, and the risk of distortion and deformation of the display panel during stretching is reduced as well.

Stretchable display module and manufacturing method thereof

A light guide plate including a substrate; a first refractive index layer; a second refractive index layer stacked on the first refractive index layer, and a reflective layer disposed on a surface of the substrate opposite to the first refractive index layer, wherein the first refractive index layer is a structure of a plurality of prisms distributed on an emergence surface of the substrate, forming prism-structured netted dots. Through disposing the prism-structured netted dots, the reflective layer, and the second refractive index layer on the light guide plate substrate, and using refraction and reflection of each layer to realize adjustment of emergence angle, a function of an independent diffuser, prism, and reflector is realized. The light guide plate is used as CF or TFT substrate to manufacture a liquid crystal display, and a backlight module is integrated into a liquid crystal panel, decreasing a thickness of a liquid crystal module.

A display panel and a display device are provided. The display panel includes a flexible substrate and a plurality of display sections and retractable sections disposed on the flexible substrate in an array, wherein the retractable sections are configured to connect the display sections to each other. Each of the retractable sections includes at least four arc sections, one C-shaped section, and four straight sections. Under external forces in all directions, the arc sections and the C-shaped section extend and are deformed along different directions in a plane, and the straight sections can buffer stresses caused by extension and deformation.

The array substrate includes a substrate, a buffer layer, a plurality of thin film transistors, an organic layer, and a first electrode. By defining a via hole between two adjacent thin film transistors in the bending region, the via hole penetrates through the passivation layer, the gate insulating layer, and the first metal trace, which can effectively reduce stress between the passivation layer and the gate insulating layer.

A display panel and a manufacturing method for display panel are disclosed. The display panel including: a first substrate, a second substrate, first protrusions, and second protrusions. A gap is disposed between the adjacent first protrusions and the adjacent second protrusions, and the first protrusions and the second protrusions are inserted into the gap corresponding to each other to form a fastening interlock structure. The fastening interlock structure effectively releases a bending stress formed by the bending of the panel and protects the display panel.

The invention provides a curved display panel and a manufacturing method thereof. The curved display panel includes a glass substrate, a metal wire grid polarizer, an array substrate, a color filter substrate, and a thin film substrate, wherein the metal wire grid polarizer is disposed on the glass substrate, and the array substrate is provided on the metal wire grid polarizer. The present invention uses a metal wire grid polarizer to replace the lower polarizer in the prior art. The metal wire grid polarizer can be placed under the array substrate by using ductility and high temperature resistance of a metal, and prevent the curved display panel from occurrence of light leakage due to the retardation effect of glass by using polarization characteristic of the metal wire grid polarizer, thus improving viewing angles of a liquid crystal display, and increasing brightness uniformity of curved display of the panel.

A flexible display panel and a method for preparing thereof are provided. The method for preparing the flexible display panel includes providing a glass substrate and applying a thermosetting polymer on the glass substrate; curing the thermosetting polymer thereon into a solid film by baking; removing the solid film on a surface of a bonding region to expose a surface of the glass substrate underneath; forming a buffer layer on a surface of the solid film and the surface of the glass substrate from which the solid film has been removed; forming a metal layer on the buffer layer; forming a solder pad and metal wiring in the bonding region of the metal layer; attaching a chip to the solder pad of the bonding region after finishing bonding and sawing of a panel unit; and removing the glass substrate outside the bonding region and a transition region.
