A lighting apparatus and a method for manufacturing the same. A lighting apparatus is provided, including: a transparent portion including a first surface, a second surface and an edge connected to the first surface and the second surface, the edge including an inner surface with a preset shape; and a light source fixed on the transparent portion so that the inner surface receives light emitted by the light source and reflects it to at least one of the first surface and the second surface. The preset shape has a certain relationship with distribution of light emitted to the first surface and the second surface. The method for manufacturing just designs the preset shape during designing stage so as to satisfy requirements for distribution of the light emitted to the first surface and the second surface.

According to an example, a position of a pointer may be detected to be positioned over an icon of a plurality of selectable icons. A menu containing a set of sub-icons corresponding to the icon may be displayed and a first location and a second location of the displayed menu may be determined. A first line and a second line may be determined and a plurality of points in a movement of the pointer may be recorded. A third line that crosses the plurality of recorded points may also be determined. In response to a determination that the third line is within an area between the first line and the second line, the menu may continue to be displayed while the pointer passes over another icon of the plurality of selectable icons.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and device for receiving PAM data stream. In an embodiment, a method comprises receiving a signal stream modulated with pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) associated with a plurality of bit patterns; determining boundary voltages for the plurality of bit patterns; and calibrating, based on the boundary voltages, a threshold voltage for use in recognition of the plurality of bit patterns. In this way, bit patterns may be accurately recognized based on the calibrated threshold voltage.

Methods and devices for data demodulation

A device that stabilizes video timing signals from an analog video signal is provided. In one embodiment, such a device includes a video PLL controller and a vertical synchronization (Vsync) signal generator. The device output a clock for digital video data, where the clock follows the Vsync signal from the analog video but within the jitter requirements for the clock.

A power conversion device includes a power semiconductor switch module, a driving signal-transmitting circuit, a plurality of failure-detecting circuits, a protection signal transmitting circuit and a control circuit. The control circuit generates the control signal and receives a protection signal generated according to the protection pulse signal. The control circuit generates a turn off signal according to the protection signal to turn off the power semiconductor switch module.

Power conversion device and method for transmitting protection signal using the same

A three-level rectifier includes at least one phase bridge arm that includes an upper-half and a lower-half bridge arm circuit modules. The upper-half bridge arm circuit module includes a first diode unit and a second diode unit that are in series connection, and a first power semiconductor switch unit. The lower-half bridge arm circuit module includes a third diode unit and a fourth diode unit that are in series connection, and a second power semiconductor switch unit. These first and second power semiconductor switch units are connected to the neutral point of the capacitor unit; the second diode unit and the third diode unit are connected to the alternating-current terminal; the first diode unit and the fourth diode unit are respectively connected to the positive terminal and negative terminal of the direct-current bus. The two circuit modules are disposed side by side and facing each other.
