A clutching jig includes a first holding bar, a second holding bar, and a fixing means. The first holding bar has a first inner surface, a first end portion and a second end, an engaging portion projected from the first inner surface of the first end portion, and a first recess formed on the second end portion. The second holding bar includes a second inner surface, a third end portion, a fourth end portion, and a second recess formed on the fourth end portion. The fixing means fixes the first end portion with the third end portion. While the clutching jig is assembled, the first inner surface faces the second inner surface, and the engaging portion engages the second inner surface of the third end portion by the fixing means to form a gap between the first inner surface and the second inner surface.

Clutching jig

A connector assembly includes a socket connector, and a plug connector including a plug housing and plug terminals disposed in the plug housing and each having a contact portion projected sideward out of the plug housing. The socket connector includes a socket housing defining an insertion space, plug terminals disposed in the socket housing and contact pads embedded in two opposite inner sidewalls of the insertion space to connect with the plug terminals and exposed in the insertion space. Two end edges of the inner sidewalls of the insertion space are designed with two arc-shaped guiding surfaces. A bottom of each contact pad is bent and embedded in the inner sidewall to realize a smooth connection of the contact pad and the guiding surface so as to guide the contact portions to be inserted into the insertion space along the guiding surfaces and electrically contact with the contact pads.

Connector assembly

A contacting terminal electrically connecting with an electrical element includes a soldering plate, a pair of facing confining plates extended upward from two opposite side edges of the soldering plate, an upward flexible arm extended from one end of the soldering plate, and a contacting portion extended from a free end of the flexible arm and beyond tops of the confining plates. The contacting portion is elastically pressed downward by the electrical element to realize an electrical connection therebetween and restricted between the confining plates. Tops of the confining plates are capable of stopping the electrical element pressing the contacting portion downward excessively.

Contacting terminal

An audio jack connector includes an insulating housing, signal terminals and a ground terminal. The insulating housing defines an insertion hole extending longitudinally to penetrate through a front of the insulating housing, a fastening groove and a gap communicating with the insertion hole. The signal terminals are disposed at regular intervals between one side surface and the insertion hole of the insulating housing. The ground terminal has a base plate vertically fastened in one side surface of the insulating housing, a soldering arm projected under a bottom surface, a fastening plate bent from a top of the base plate, an elastic plate extending forward from the fastening plate and a contact arm formed by a front end of the elastic plate arched downward. The fastening plate and the elastic plate are disposed in the fastening groove with the contact arm stretched into the insertion hole through the gap.

Audio jack connector

A card connector for receiving a card includes an insulating housing, a plurality of conductive terminals received in the insulating housing, an ejection mechanism and a shielding shell covered on the insulating housing. The insulating housing defines a guiding groove. The ejection mechanism assembled in the insulating housing includes a sliding block, an elastic element and a guide pin. The sliding block has a base body, a sliding body extending sideward from one side of the base body for ejecting the card out, and a locking body extending frontward from a root of the sliding body and spaced from the one side of the base body to define a positioning passage therebetween for guiding the card to enter the insulating housing, a guiding block protruded at a bottom of the locking body to be slidably located in the guiding groove to guide the slide of the sliding block.

Card connector

A card connector for receiving a card includes an insulating housing, a plurality of conductive terminals received in the insulating housing, a first switch terminal, a second switch terminal and a shielding shell covered on the insulating housing. The insulating housing defines a first switch groove, a second switch groove, a first fastening groove and a second fastening groove. The first switch terminal includes a first fastening portion fastened in the first fastening groove, a first locating portion located in the first switch groove, and a first contact portion hung over the insulating housing. The second switch terminal includes a second fastening portion fastened in the second fastening groove, a second locating portion located in the second switch groove, and a second contact portion hung over the insulating housing to electrically contact with the first contact portion under the pressure of the card.

Card connector with two switch terminals each with a locating portion and a fastening portion

A card connector includes an insulating housing defining a first receiving chamber and a second receiving chamber. A fool-proofing member has a pivot pillar vertically pivoted in one side of the insulating housing, a first fool-proofing portion and a second fool-proofing portion protruded on an outside face of the pivot pillar and apart designed at an upper position and a lower position of the pivot pillar at an angle. An elastic element is put around a top of the pivot pillar to make the first fool-proofing portion hidden in the insulating housing and the second fool-proofing portion stretched in the second receiving chamber for receiving one card in the first receiving chamber. The first fool-proofing portion stretches into the first receiving chamber under the rotation drive of the fool-proofing member realized by another card being inserted into the second receiving chamber to push the second fool-proofing portion rearward.

A connector terminal is assembled in an insulating housing defining a receiving cavity of which front and rear sides protrude face-to-face to form two blocking eaves. The connector terminal has a fastening strip of which a bottom edge protrudes downward to form two elastic arms spaced from each other, and a soldering portion between the two elastic arms. The elastic arms are apart from two opposite side edges of the soldering portion to define two receiving intervals between the soldering portion and the elastic arms. Distal ends of the elastic arms oppositely protrude to form two fastening barbs. The soldering portion and the elastic arms are inserted in the receiving cavity. The fastening barbs slide through the blocking eaves to be hooked under the blocking eaves respectively and the fastening barbs can be avoided scraping the connector by means of cushion effects of the receiving intervals.

Connector terminal

A card connector includes an insulating housing, a shell covering on the insulating housing to define a card receiving space between the cover and the insulating housing for being inserted into a card along an insertion direction, a plurality of contacts received in the insulating housing and extended into the card receiving space, a first switch terminal and a second switch respectively positioned at a right side of the insulating housing. The first switch terminal includes a main section extended along the insertion direction, a first straight section and a second straight section successively and slantwise extended into the card receiving space form a free end of the first main section to respectively define a first slope and a second slope relative to the main section. The second switch terminal includes a contacting section extending beside the first straight section. The second slope is larger than the first slope.

A card connector includes an insulating housing defining a first receiving chamber and a second receiving chamber, a monitoring terminal fastened in one side of the insulating housing and having a contact plate, a first switch terminal fastened in the one side of the insulating housing and having a first pressing arm slantwise extending into the first receiving chamber and a first contact portion formed at a distal end of the first pressing arm for elastically contacting the contact plate by means of pressing the first pressing arm sideward, and a second switch terminal fastened in the one side of the insulating housing and having a second pressing arm slantwise stretching into the second receiving chamber and a second contact portion formed at a distal end of the second pressing arm for elastically contacting the contact plate by means of pressing the second pressing arm sideward.

A battery connector includes an insulating housing defining rear part and a front part protruded forwardly from a middle portion of the front surface of the rear part, and a plurality of contacts. The rear part defines a plurality of contact receiving cavities. Each contact receiving cavity extends from a front surface, through a top surface and to a rear surface of the rear part. The front part defines a plurality of notches. Each notch connects to the corresponding contact receiving cavity. Each contact includes a first contacting portion, a fixing hook and a fixing plate received in the contact receiving cavity defined at the rear surface, the top surface and the front surface, and a second contacting portion partially received in the notch and partially protruded out of the notch. The top portion of the rear part is sandwiched between the first contacting portion and the fixing plate.

Battery connector

A connector terminal which is curved from a strip-shaped metal plate to form a substantial R-shape includes a soldering plate and a flexible arm gradually away from the soldering plate from one end of the flexible arm to the other end of the flexible arm and arching toward the soldering plate. One end of the flexible arm abuts against the soldering plate and the other end of the flexible arm is bent towards the soldering plate to form a contacting end. An arched bent portion connects the soldering plate and one end of the flexible arm, which abuts against the soldering plate, to make the connector terminal show a substantial R-shape. When an external force acts on the contacting end to press the contacting end towards the soldering plate, the contact area between the flexible arm and the soldering plate is gradually enlarged.

A battery connector mounted on a printed circuit board which has an insulating housing having a top surface, a bottom surface, a front surface, a rear surface and two side surfaces. The front surface defines a plurality of terminal grooves. The rear surface defines two first fixing grooves and two second fixing grooves. A plurality of conductive terminals fixed in the terminal grooves each has a soldering portion for soldering on the printed circuit board. A pair of fixing elements each has a first fixing slice secured in the first fixing groove. The first fixing slice is bent perpendicularly to form a soldering slice for soldering with the printed circuit board. A connecting portion extends perpendicularly from the first fixing slice for being attached on the rear surface. A distal end of the connecting portion is bent frontward to form a second fixing slice fixed in the second fixing groove.
