A method and apparatus of an emergency starting power supply used to start a device or energize a battery. This emergency starting power supply automatically detects the contact impedance of the device or battery and provides prompts from a user interface to the user based on this detected contact impedance. The prompts guide the user as the user on how to adjust the impedance of the connections to the device or battery so that it is connected optimally to the device or battery so that the emergency starting power supply can provide the device or battery with enough energy to start the motor or engine.

A card edge connector with a locking system, which may include a locking member integrally formed with a connector housing. The locking member may deflect upon insertion of an edge of a board into the connector and spring back to engage an opening in the board. The locking member and the opening in the board may have perimeters that are rounded, allowing relative rotation about an axis through the opening even though the board is locked within the connector. Such a configuration may provide a simple and secure locking system. Such a configuration may support connecting two parallel boards, each with a card edge connector, through a riser board with opposite ends inserted into the two connectors. Relative rotation of the board with respect to the connectors enables skew, in a direction parallel to the surfaces of the parallel boards, while securing each of those boards to the riser board.

A jump starter device with an air pump capability can include a jump starter section for jump start a vehicle, and an air pump section for inflating a tire of the vehicle. The jump starter device can include a controller configured to process the load data to determine the status of the load, such as the conditions of the vehicle connected to the jump starter. The controller can also be configured to operate the air pump based on the pressure of the tire.

The mounting face of the housing includes a slot. In some embodiments, the slot exposes portions of ground conductors of the connector and receives a member coupled with the exposed portions of the ground conductors such that the electrical connector can meet high performance requirements. The member may be inserted into or molded in the slot. In some embodiments, the slot may or may not receive a member that is insulative when the electrical connector does not need to meet the high performance requirements. Such a configuration enables the same connector to be compatible with multiple performance protocols.

The mainboard includes a radio frequency circuit. The metal frame is coupled to the radio frequency circuit, and configured to receive or transmit a radio frequency signal. The shield structure is located in the display module or on a side of the display module closer to the mainboard, and is connected to the display module. The shield structure includes a metal shield layer. The metal shield layer is insulated from the metal frame and the radio frequency circuit, and the metal shield layer can generate reflection between the metal frame and the display module, weaken field strength generated in the display module by radiated energy from the metal frame, and shield the energy radiated from the metal frame to the display module.
