The present invention provides an electrode material and production method thereof. The electrode material comprises: an electrode active material; and an elastic layer coated on the electrode active material, wherein the elastic layer comprises the elements of C, H, O, N, S and the electrode material has the characteristic peaks at mass-to-charge ratio (m/z) 261±0.5, (m/z) 155±0.5, (m/z) 80±0.5, (m/z) 32±0.5, and (m/z) 14±0.5 using TOF-SIMS with the primary ion of Bi.

Electrode material and production method and application thereof

Present invention is related to a metallic particle-deposition substrate having a metal substrate and multiple metallic particles attached thereon. The metallic particles are nano-particles with at least 90% of these nano-particles as single layer being evenly dispersed on the metal substrate. Each of the metallic particle is isolated without toughing or overlapping. The metal substrate has different material than the metallic particles in each preferred embodiment in the present invention. More preferably, at least 80% of the metallic particles have the distance between each metallic particle is at a range of 2-6 nm for better generation of hotspot effects. The present invention provides a fast production method for producing the substrate with heterogeneous interface. The metallic particles are evenly attached to the surface of the metal substrate to obtain better surface enhanced Raman effect as to apply for sensors in all kinds of field.

Metallic particle-deposition substrate, method and application thereof for increasing heterointerface

Present invention is related to a composite modified layer attached on a current collector comprising a lithiophilic particle being covered or coated by a polymer layer. The composite modified layer further could be coated with an additional carbon layer or artificial protective film as several suitable embodiments presented in this invention. The lithiophilic particle, such as sliver nano-particle, will firstly form a lithium-silver alloys to reduce a thermodynamic instability during the growth of lithium nuclei. The sliver nano-particle is able to be attached securely on the current collector by the polymer with high adhesion ability. The fuel cell including the composite modified layer in the present invention has higher average Coulombic efficiency and higher capacity retention.

A method and system to quickly analyze and predict battery failure and short-circuit comprises a battery cell unit carried with a sensor unit continuing detect a value of a condition of the battery cell unit to obtain a time domain result. The system will further convert the time domain result into a frequency domain result and will send an alarm or warning if such frequency domain result has exceeded a pre-set threshold. The present invention could accurately send the reminder or warning of the upcoming short-circuit at earlier stage of the battery cell unit by simply analyzing the time domain result converting as the frequency domain result. The system provided by the present invention has the ability to detect micro-circuit of the battery cell unit to facilitate detecting battery failure and short-circuit to avoid any emergency happened to the battery while using.

Method and system to quickly analyze and predict battery failure and short-circuit

The disclosure provides a primary battery and an electrode assembly thereof. The electrode assembly includes a separator, a positive electrode, and a negative electrode current collector. The separator has a positive electrode side and a negative electrode side opposite to each other. The positive electrode is located at the positive electrode side of the separator, and the positive electrode includes a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode material. The negative electrode current collector is located at the negative electrode side of the separator. The electrode assembly does not include a negative electrode material before charging or activation.

The treating method is suitable for being performed prior to injecting a nonaqueous-electrolyte into a containing region of the battery. The treating method includes performing at least one first voltage process or at least one second voltage process on the nonaqueous-electrolyte. The first voltage process includes as follows. A first voltage is applied to the nonaqueous-electrolyte. The voltage is adjusted gradually from the first voltage to a second voltage. The voltage is adjusted gradually from the second voltage to the first voltage. The second voltage process includes as follows. A third voltage is applied to the nonaqueous-electrolyte for a predetermined time.

Treating method of non-aqueous electrolyte and method of fabricating battery

A catalyst layer material and a membrane electrode assembly (MEA) having same are provided. The catalyst layer material used for a fuel cell has a catalyst support and a catalyst distributed on the catalyst support. The catalyst support has TiMNO, wherein Ti is titanium; M is one metal element selected from a group consisting of group IB metals, group IIA metals, group IIB metals, group VB metals, group VIB metals, group VIIB metals and group VIIIB metals; N is an non-metal element selected from a group consisting of nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur; O is oxygen; 0&#x3c;W&#x2264;1; 0&#x3c;X&#x2264;0.5; 0&#x3c;Y&#x2264;0.2; 1.5&#x2264;Z&#x2264;2.0. By applying a non-carbon catalyst support doped with metal cations and anions to the membrane electrode assembly, stability and performance of the fuel cell can be effectively enhanced.

A catalyst composition and a use thereof are provided. The catalyst composition includes a support and at least one RuMalloy attached to the surface of the support, wherein M is a transition metal and X&#x2265;Y. The catalyst composition is used in an alkaline electrochemical energy conversion reaction, and can improve the energy conversion efficiency for an electrochemical energy conversion device and significantly reduce material costs.
