Downlink signals, such as synchronization signals and/or reference signals, may be used for facilitating communications between communication devices. The downlink signals may be dynamically reconfigured, for reduced resource consumption, using control channel signaling with reduced resource overhead. Reconfiguration of downlink signals may be based on determined traffic volume in the communication network to minimize any impact of the reconfiguration on network performance.

Dynamic signaling for energy saving in wireless communications

A wireless device receives one or more radio resource control (RRC) messages that indicate uplink transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states associated with cancellation indications (CIs). The wireless device receives a first DCI scheduling a transmission via uplink resources and indicating a first uplink TCI state. The wireless device receives a second DCI that includes a cancellation indication (CI) indicating cancellation resources that overlaps with the uplink resources. The wireless device drops the transmission via the uplink resources in response to the uplink TCI states including the first uplink TCI state of the transmission.

Preemption indication with multi-beam

A wireless device receives one or more radio resource control (RRC) messages comprising configuration parameters of a cell that indicate: a bandwidth part (BWP) inactivity timer; a plurality of downlink BWPs comprising a first downlink BWP and a second downlink BWP; and a sidelink BWP. The wireless device performs sidelink communication on the sidelink BWP. The wireless device determines whether to switch from the first downlink BWP to the second downlink BWP, based on: expiry of the BWP inactivity timer; and a priority of the sidelink communication.

Bandwidth part switching based on priority level

A wireless device receives, via a search space, a downlink control information (DCI). The DCI includes a cancellation indication (CI) for cancelling uplink signals via uplink resources of an uplink cell. The wireless device determines that one or more sidelink resources, of a scheduled sidelink transmission via a sidelink bandwidth part (BWP) on the uplink cell, overlap with the uplink resources. The wireless device drops a scheduled sidelink transmission, via one or more sidelink resources of a sidelink bandwidth part (BWP), based on a first priority of the scheduled sidelink transmission and a second priority of the CI.

Cancellation indications of uplink and sidelink transmissions

A wireless device receives, from a base station, configuration parameters indicating channel state information (CSI) resources for a cell and a periodicity of semi persistent (SP) CSI reports. The wireless device receives an SP CSI report activation media access control control element (MAC CE) indicating the SP CSI reports. The wireless device transmits, to the base station in response to the SP CSI report activation MAC CE and based on the periodicity, reference signal received power (RSRP) values for the SP CSI reports determined based on the CSI resources.

Channel state information feedback for multiple transmission reception points

Wireless resources may be determined for communications between wireless devices. A wireless device may select resources based on measuring one or more channels (e.g., associated with sidelink transmission, feedback transmission, etc.). Resource selection may comprise exclusion of certain resources being used for other communications and/or exclusion or selection of resources based on one or more priorities.

Control information may be used to schedule communications between a wireless device and a base station. The wireless device may monitor control channels associated with one or more cells to receive the control information.

Scheduling wireless communications

A wireless device receives one or more downlink control information (DCI) indicating a sidelink preemption, first radio resources for sidelink control information (SCI), second radio resources for a sidelink transmission, and wireless device ID. The wireless device transmits the SCI, via first radio resources, in response to the sidelink preemption and based on the wireless device ID being the same as an ID for the wireless device.

Preemption indication and radio resource selection for transmission

A first wireless device may receive, from a base station, one or more first messages indicating downlink (DL) discontinuous reception (DRX) parameters comprising a DL DRX on-duration start offset. The first wireless device may determine a starting time of a sidelink DRX (SL DRX) on-duration based on the DL DRX on-duration start offset. The first wireless device may receive, from a second wireless device, one or more sidelink transport blocks during the SL DRX on-duration.

Sidelink discontinuous reception alignment

A wireless device determines sidelink configurations for sidelink communications that indicate: zone configurations for sidelink transmissions; and communication range thresholds each corresponding to a respective zone configuration of the zone configurations. The wireless device transmits, to one or more second wireless devices, sidelink control information, SCI, that indicates: a zone, of a first zone configuration of the zone configurations, indicating a geographic location of the first wireless device; and a first communication range threshold, of the first zone configuration, indicating a communication range of the sidelink transmissions.

Zone management and hybrid automatic repeat request for sidelink

An example method for requesting message transmission for sidelink inter-UE coordination may include receiving, by a first wireless device from a second wireless device, sidelink control information (SCI) indicating a request for resource selection for one or more sidelink transmissions by the second wireless device, and receiving, from the second wireless device, a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) indicating a reservation interval for the resource selection for the one or more sidelink transmissions. The method includes transmitting, to the second wireless device, a message indicating a set of resources for the one or more sidelink transmissions, wherein the set of resources are selected by the first wireless device and based on the SCI and the MAC CE.

Request message transmission for sidelink inter-UE coordination

A method for inter-UE coordination is disclosed. The method includes transmitting, by a first wireless device to a second wireless device, a request message for a set of resources for a sidelink transmission by the first wireless device; and receiving, from the second wireless device, coordination information indicating the set of resources. A priority of the coordination information may equal a priority of the sidelink transmission.

Sidelink resource selection procedure

A wireless device receives configuration parameters including a first feedback parameter for selecting first feedback radio resources of a sidelink and a second feedback parameter for selecting second feedback radio resources of the sidelink. The wireless device may select one or more radio resources based on a sidelink control information (SCI) indication. The radio resources may be selected from one of the first feedback radio resources based on the first feedback parameter and the second feedback radio resources based on the second feedback parameter. The wireless device may further transmit a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for a received sidelink transmission via the selected one or more radio resources.
