The present disclosure relates to a method, system, and computer program product for integrating data between a plurality of different enterprise systems. An illustrative embodiment of the disclosure provides a method for integrating data between different systems, comprising: acquiring a user interface metadata for each of a plurality of enterprise systems, wherein the user interface metadata of an enterprise system corresponds to data in the same enterprise system and describes how the data should be presented on a user interface of the enterprise system; in response to acquiring the user interface metadata for each of the plurality of enterprise systems, generating a user interface presentation for each of the plurality of enterprise systems according to the user interface metadata; and establishing, for each of the plurality of enterprise systems, a first mapping between the user interface presentation and a structure of the data.

Integrating data between different enterprise systems

A method for managing the lifecycle of an object, where the lifecycle involves a plurality of states of the object, at least one transition between the plurality of states and at least one role who has authority to execute the at least one transition. At least one of the plurality of states, the at least one transition and the at least one role is mapped to Web Ontology Language (OWL) elements. The role related control information is obtained using the reasoning ability of OWL itself according to the above mapping. Furthermore, the lifecycle is managed according to the above role related control information. Using the principles of the present invention, the access control information of roles can be embedded into the lifecycle description and therefore the lifecycle management can be realized easily.

Managing lifecycle of objects

The at least one target system is accessed to identify one or more web services available via the at least one target system, thus defining one or more available services. Information concerning the one or more available web services is identified. At least a portion of the information concerning the one or more available web services is published within a web services directory.
