A method for providing log information includes: determining a first set of semantic segments including fault information from multiple semantic segments into which a set of log files of a target system is divided; extracting key information specific to the target system from the first set of semantic segments; determining, based on the extracted key information, an application scenario involved in the fault information and at least one log file related to the application scenario in the set of log files; determining a second set of semantic segments including the key information from multiple semantic segments into which the at least one log file is divided; and providing the first set of semantic segments and the second set of semantic segments by highlighting the fault information and the key information in the first set of semantic segments and the second set of semantic segments. The embodiments of the present disclosure contribute to improving the efficiency of a user in locating the cause of a system fault, thereby improving user satisfaction.

Method, electronic device, and computer program product for extracting fault information from log files

A method, a device and a computer program product for managing data backup are provided. The method comprises: obtaining a first set of performance parameters of a backup client prior to performing a data backup, the backup client being configured to transmit data to a backup server for backup and record information about the data in a cache to avoid duplicate data being transmitted to the backup server; determining, from a plurality of sets of historical performance parameters collected during multiple historical data backups performed by the backup client, at least one set of historical performance parameters similar to the first set of performance parameters; determining, from the at least one set of historical performance parameters, a set of historical performance parameters indicating the best performance; and adjusting, based on the set of historical performance parameters, an available capacity of the cache to be used in the data backup.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, a device and a computer program product for managing backup data. The method comprises receiving a first request from a user for managing backup data on a first virtual machine management platform. The method further comprises sending a second request comprising a user identifier and a platform identifier to a backup server. The method further comprises receiving, from the backup server, a first virtual machine identifier of the first virtual machine used by the user on the second virtual machine management platform and backup records corresponding to the first virtual machine identifier. The method further comprises determining, based on the first virtual machine identifier, whether a second virtual machine matched with the first virtual machine is present in the first virtual machine management platform. The method further comprises, in response to the second virtual machine being present, storing the backup records in association with a second virtual machine identifier related to the second virtual machine. With the above method, it is possible to implement quick migration of backup data across platforms thereby providing a seamless, reliable and convenient data protection solution for the user.
