Three-dimensional ultrasonic imaging method and system

A method for automatic identification of a measurement item includes: acquiring gray values of pixels of a specified section image, where the gray values of the pixels correspond to ultrasound echoes generated by reflection of ultrasound waves by a tissue under examination; determining a section type of the specified section image based on one or more characteristics defined by the gray values of the pixels, the section type identifying a particular section of a particular area of the tissue from which the specified section image is acquired; identifying at least one measurement item which is measurable in the specified section image according to the section type of the specified section image; and obtaining a value of the identified at least one measurement item according to the specified section image.

An intervention guidance device () includes a main body portion () and a guidance portion (). The guidance portion () has a contracted configuration and an expanded configuration. In the expanded configuration, the guidance portion () has a central area () and a closed outer edge (). A method for automatic identification of a measurement item is provided. The method comprises acquiring, via an image acquisition module, gray values of pixels of a specified section image corresponding to ultrasonic echoes generated by reflection of ultrasound waves by a tissue under examination; identifying, via an identification module, at least one measurement item corresponding to the specified section image based on the gray values of the pixels; and measuring, via a measuring module, a measurement item parameter of the specified section image based on the measurement item identified. Because the measurement item of a specified section image can be automatically identified based on the content thereof, the user does not need to move a trackball to select measurement items, and therefore efficiency is increased.

The present application provides an implantation method of an artificial heart valve. The implantation method can include forming an incision in the left chest to expose the ventricle; advancing a guide wire kept away from chordae tendineaes through the atrium into the ventricle; advancing a guide wire catcher into the ventricle from the incision to pull out the distal end of the guide wire from the ventricle; and advancing the artificial heart valve into the ventricle from the distal end of the guide wire with a valve deliverer, and placing the artificial heart valve at a primary valve between the ventricle and the atrium along the guide wire. The artificial heart valve may avoid the chordae tendineaes in the heart system through the guide wire track during implantation.

The ultrasonic imaging method and the ultrasonic imaging system can obtain the three-dimensional volume data of the fetal head by ultrasonically scanning the fetus and can also automatically detect and display the median sagittal section of the fetal head, thus solving the problem that it is difficult for a doctor to precisely and manually position the median sagittal section.

An ultrasound imaging system provides for defining a VOI in an ultrasound imaging space. The system defines an initial frame of the VOI in the ultrasound imaging space, receives a selection of at least one reference point at an arbitrary location in the ultrasound imaging space, creates at least one curved surface using at least one element of the initial frame and the at least one reference point, and then creates VOI based on the curved surface in the ultrasound imaging space.
