A cable connector includes an outer housing, an inner housing including a first housing and a second housing assembled with each other, and a cable assembly retained between the first housing and the second housing. The cable assembly includes a pair of terminals, two wires, and a sleeve. The second housing defines a group of first holding portions for holding the wires. The first housing and the second housing each define a group of second holding portions for commonly holding the sleeve.

An electrical connector includes an insulative front housing, an insulative rear housing and a plurality of contacts. The front housing forms a mating cavity. The contact includes a contacting section extending into the mating cavity, a retaining section retained to the front housing, and a connecting section connected with the wire. The receptacle connector includes a receptacle housing with a plurality of receptacle contacts retained thereto. The receptacle housing forms therein a mating cavity in which a receptacle mating portion extends along the mating direction wherein the receptacle mating portion forms a mating face behind which the receptacle contacts are located. During mating, the plug mating portion is snugly received within the mating cavity with the mating surface of the plug connector is spaced from the mating face of the receptacle connector.

An electrical connector assembly includes a first connector and a second connector mateable with each other wherein each of the first connector and the second connector has an insulative housing essentially composed of a bottom wall, a side wall and a pair of end walls wherein all the bottom wall and the side wall are rectangular while the end walls are right triangular. The first connector and he second connector are coupled with each other in a complementary manner with the corresponding hypotenuses of the right triangles confronting each other. An electrical connector assembly includes a plug connector and a receptacle connector. A plug connector includes an insulative plug housing and a plurality of blade type male contacts retained in the plug housing. Each of the blade type male contacts includes a contacting section composed of two opposite primary mating planes and two opposite side locking planes. Correspondingly, a receptacle connector includes an insulative receptacle housing and a plurality of clip type female contacts retained in the receptacle housing. Each of the clip type female contacts includes a pair of contacting portions sandwiching the two opposite primary mating planes of the corresponding blade type male contact therebetween in a first horizontal direction. A metallic blade type locking piece retained in the receptacle housing, includes a pair of locking arms sandwiching the two opposite side locking planes therebetween in a second horizontal direction perpendicular to the first horizontal direction.

An electrical connector assembly includes a receptacle connector and a plug connector mateable with each other. Each of the receptacle connector and the plug connector defines a first mating face and a second mating face perpendicular to each other in response to mating along the front-to-back direction and the vertical direction. Each of the receptacle connector and the plug connector includes a plurality of contacts composed of a plurality of first contacts and a plurality of contact units alternately arranged with each other along the transverse direction perpendicular to both the front-to-back direction and the vertical direction. Each contact unit includes a second contact and a third contact wherein the second contact is closer to the second mating face than the third contact is while the third contact is closer to the first mating face than the second contact is.

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of passageways, a plurality of blade type contacts retained to the retaining grooves in the corresponding passageways, a spacer located in a rear receiving space of the housing with corresponding slits through which tails of the contacts rearwardly extend, and a plurality of wires having the inner conductors soldered upon the tails of the contacts behind the spacer. A waterproof glue plate fills the receiving space of the housing to enclose the exposed inner conductors and the corresponding tails. A plurality of passages are formed in one side of the peripheral wall, through which the wires extend in a vertical direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction along which the contacts extend. The spacer forms a recess to receive a protrusion of the glue plate, and the protrusion is located adjacent to the passages for assuring sealing around said passages.

Electrical cable connector

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of slit type passageways, a plurality of blade type contacts retained with the corresponding slit type passageways, respectively, and a plurality of wires having the inner conductors soldered upon the tails of the contacts behind the rear face of the housing. The rear face forms a plurality of standoffs on which the front ends of the exposed inner conductor abut, respectively. A waterproof glue plate fills the back space of the housing behind the rear face to enclose the exposed inner conductors and the corresponding tails and seal the rear face of the housing.

The electrical connector includes an insulative housing having a columnar section and an annular groove surrounding the columnar section. The column section includes a mating face and a plurality of power contact passageways and a plurality of signal contact passageways extending through the mating face wherein the signal contacts and the power contacts are commonly arranged with a cross configuration area to have the signal contacts located by opposite upper and lower sides of the power contacts. Both the power contacts and the signal contacts of the plug connector are of a blade type while both the power contacts and the signal contacts of the receptacle connector are of a clamp type wherein each signal contact has one clamping structure while each power contact has a pair of clamping structures side by side arranged with each other.

An electrical connector includes: an insulative housing defining a mating cavity upwardly communicating with an exterior through a top mating face thereof along an up-to-down direction, the mating cavity including a pair of side walls facing each other in a lengthwise direction perpendicular to the up-to-down direction; and a pair of flat power terminals retained in the two side walls of the mating cavity, respectively; wherein each flat power terminal includes a pair of elastic arms extending on two opposite sides thereof in the up-to-down direction, the pair of elastic arms of each flat power terminal are staggered in a transverse direction perpendicular to the up-to-down direction and the lengthwise direction.

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing defining a top surface and a bottom surface opposite to each other and a plurality of electrical contacts received in the insulative housing. Each electrical contact is formed by stamping a metal plate and includes a contacting portion exposed to the top surface, a mounting portion extending out of the bottom surface and an elastic portion disposed between the contacting portion and the mounting portion and in the insulative housing, wherein the elastic portion includes a first elastic portion and a second elastic portion disposed on two opposite sides of the contacting portion.

An electrical connector assembly includes a receptacle connector and a plug connector. The receptacle connector includes a housing unit defining a mating cavity communicating with an exterior via an insertion opening at a front end thereof. A plurality of contact grooves are defined within the housing unit and extend along a front-to-rear direction. A plurality of contacts are arranged in the contact grooves in a side-by-side manner. A pair of elastic locking devices are disposed at opposite sides of the mating cavity and each has a pair of locking arms projecting into the mating cavity.
