An electrical connector assembly includes a first and a second electrical connector each having two connector ports. The first connector port of the first connector has an insulating mating tongue with a plurality of contacts thereon and an insulating protecting frame arranged side by side with the mating tongue along a longitudinal direction of the first connector and spaced away from the mating tongue. The second connector port is received in the protecting frame and has a shielding shell surrounding therearound.

Combo electrical connector

An electrical connector includes an insulated housing and a plurality of contact loaded in the insulated housing. The insulated housing defines an uninterrupted longitudinal slot extending in a first direction and through a mating face in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction the slot having a first and a second inner side faces facing to each other. The first inner side defines a groove extending through the mating face in the second direction. Each contacts includes a retaining portion retained in the insulated housing, a contacting portion exposing in the slot and a tail portion. The contacting portions defines a mating orientation along which the contacting portions contact with corresponding contacts of a counter electrical connector intended to be inserted in the slot. The plurality of contacts includes a first group and a second group of contacts lined along the first side face of the slot at opposite sides of the groove, and a third group, a forth group and a fifth group of contacts lined along the second side face. The third group of contacts are aligned with the groove, the forth group of contacts faces to the first group of contacts and the fifth group of contacts faces to the second group of contacts in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions.

An electrical connector includes a first connector interface and a second connector interface arranged side by side and spaced from each other along a longitudinal direction of the electrical connector. The first connector interface is of tongue portion with a plurality of contacts arranged on the tongue portion; the second connector interface is of frame shape. Two end walls are disposed at two opposite ends of the connector along the longitudinal direction and aligned with two connector interfaces and a connecting wall connects with the end walls at one side of the connector interfaces. The second connector interface has at least one mating cavity, which has no wall at one side so that the mating cavity directly faces to one guiding slot on the end wall.

The electrical connector () includes an insulated housing () and a number of electrical contacts (S-S, P-P) disposed in the insulated housing (). An electrical connector includes a row of terminals () having a pair of differential signal terminals () mounted on a mating tongue (). Each of the signal contact terminals has a rear end () on a back outer face of the connector and a free mounting end () away from the back outer face. The free mounting ends are located on a first end row and bent from the rear ends and away from each other in opposite transverse directions so as to widen a pitch therebetween to improve impendence for decreasing interference.
