Noise mitigation hood

A fluid tank that includes a housing. The housing includes a bottom wall, a top wall, and a side wall. The side wall couples the bottom wall to the top wall to define a cavity that receives and houses a liquid. A conduit guides liquid from a fluid source into the cavity. The conduit defines an inlet and an outlet. The outlet couples to the side wall. A vent coupled to the housing and to the conduit. The vent defines a vent inlet coupled to the housing and a vent outlet coupled to the conduit. The vent discharges gas from the housing into the conduit.

An operator cab for a work vehicle includes: a cab enclosure including a roof an operator chair disposed in the cab enclosure; at least one layer of noise-deadening material coupled to the roof; and a headliner coupled to the roof such that the at least one layer of noise-deadening material is at least partially disposed between the headliner and the roof. The headliner includes a noise-reflective material and a noise escape region that comprises at least one opening configured to allow sound waves to pass through the noise escape region into the at least one layer of noise-deadening material and reduce noise reflection by the headliner to the operator chair.

The mount has a first connecting feature connected to the cabin, a second connecting feature connected to the chassis and a resilient member coupled to both the first connecting feature and the second connecting feature. A combine side-shaking control system and a method for controlling operation of a side-shaking mechanism in a combine. The control system includes at least one sieve for separating crop material from other materials and a movable side-shaking mechanism coupled to the at least one sieve and configured to move the at least one sieve in a side-to-side motion. The control system also includes at least one sensor for sensing at least one operating condition of a combine system. The control system further includes a controller for receiving the at least one operating condition and causing the side-shaking mechanism to stop moving the at least one sieve in the side-to-side motion or start moving the at least one sieve in the side-to-side motion based on the at least one operating condition.

A double rack and pinion arrangement is used including at least one pinion mounted at a fixed location, a first sidewardly extending rack is connected to the first sickle knife for sideward movement therewith and a second sidewardly extending rack is connected to the second sickle knife for sideward movement therewith, the racks both being enmeshed with the pinion such that sideward movement of the driving knife causes corresponding opposite sideward movement of the longitudinally aligned driven knife.
