The invention discloses a novel control system for a Poly-Chromatic light-emitting diode (LED) lighting system, and applies feed forward and feedback control techniques to regulate the color and luminous outputs. Also, the control system is proposed for achieving luminous and color consistency for Poly-Chromatic LED lighting.

Poly-chromatic light-emitting diode (LED) lighting system

An evaporator suitable for absorbing heat from a heat source is provided. The evaporator includes a top board, a bottom board, a side frame, and at least one porous member. The side frame connects the top board and the bottom board. The porous member is disposed between the top board and the bottom board and within the side frame. The part of the top board covering the porous member is a heat conducting portion near the heat source. The evaporator has at least one first channel, at least one second channel, a fluid inlet, and a fluid outlet. The first channel is adjacent to the bottom board and the porous member for containing a working fluid. The second channel is adjacent to the top board and the porous member for containing the working fluid. The fluid inlet communicates with the first channel. The fluid outlet communicates with the second channel.

Evaporator, loop heat pipe module and heat generating apparatus

A heat pipe cooling system including an evaporator, a pipeline, a working fluid and a thermal connector is provided. The evaporator is connected to a heat-generating element, and the pipeline is connected to the evaporator. The working fluid is injected into a closed loop formed by the evaporator and the pipeline. The thermal connector includes a first thermal conductive block and a second thermal conductive block. The first thermal conductive block has many first fitting parts and a contact surface. The contact surface is suitable for attaching to one of the surfaces of an object. The second thermal conductive block has many second fitting parts. The second fitting parts are suitable for meshing with the first fitting parts to form a piping channel inside the thermal connector. The piping channel is suitable for enclosing a section of the pipeline or directly serving as a part of the pipeline.

Heat pipe cooling system and thermal connector thereof

The present invention is related to the apparatus for driving the light emitting devices with different colors. The input powers of the light emitting devices are measured and controlled by a feedback control system to maintain constant, and by setting different power inputs to the different light emitting devices different stable colors are produced.

Apparatus for controlling light emitting devices

The heat transfer device at least comprises: an evaporator, a heat conductor and a connecting pipe. The evaporator comprises: a first hollow tube; a porous core mortised inside the first hollow tube; and a second hollow tube mortised on the first hollow tube. The heat conductorcovers the evaporator. The heat conductor is on the heating device. The connecting pipe is connected to first and second hollow tubes. The connecting pipe is used for containing a working fluid. The condenser is on the connecting pipe. The porous core, the first and second hollow tube, and the heat conductor are mortised together so as to simplify the manufacturing process, and reduce the cost. Further, the evaporator is tightly covered and fixed by the heat conductor so that the heat generated by the heating device can be uniformly conducted to the evaporator to enhance the heat conductivity.

Heat transfer device

A lighting device with a multiple cooling layer structure has at least one mounting heat conductive block, at least one light assembly and multiple heatsinks. The mounting heat conductive block has a front end, a rear end, a side and at least one shoulder. Each shoulder is formed at the side of the mounting bracket. The light assembly is mounted on the front end of the mounting bracket. Each heatsinks is mounted on one of the shoulders and the rear end of the mounting bracket. When the lighting device generates heat, the heat is able to drive away from the mounting bracket to the heatsinks. The lighting device is able to cool down. The mounting heat conductive block and the heat sinks are easy to manufacture and transfer heat more effectively.

Lighting device with a multiple layer cooling structure

A method for manufacturing a heat transfer device is described. The method includes: mortising a porous core into a first hollow tube; mortising a second hollow tube on the first hollow tube; covering a heat conductor on the first hollow tube; and connecting a connecting pipe to the first hollow tube and the second hollow tube.

Method of manufacturing heat transfer device

A light-emitting diode (LED) device has a shade, an active heat-dissipation device and an LED module. The shade has a cavity. The active heat-dissipation device is mounted in the cavity in the shade and has a cooling board, an evaporator, a condenser, a compressor, an expansion valve and a refrigerant. The evaporator, condenser, compressor and expansion valve connect to each other to form a loop. The refrigerant is set in the loop. The LED module is mounted to the active heat-dissipation device and has at least one LED. The active heat-dissipation device dissipates the heat from the LED and even lowers the temperature of the LED under ambient temperature.

An illumination apparatus of light emitting diodes and method of heat dissipation thereof are provided. The present illumination apparatus is associated with a loop heat pipe (LHP) device. The LHP device includes a condenser communicating with an evaporator. The illumination apparatus includes a base having a plurality of light emitting diodes disposed thereon and a cover with a light exit enclosing the base. The evaporator is associated with the base and the condenser is associated with the cover. The heat generated from the light emitting diodes is conducted to the cover, and thereby dissipated away.

Illumination apparatus of light emitting diodes and method of heat dissipation thereof

A lighting assembly includes a circuit board having light emitting diodes, a heat conductive plate, a soldering plate removably connected to the circuit board and having multiple LED holes to correspond to the LEDs on the circuit board and a fixing plate securely connected to the circuit board after the soldering plate is removed from engagement with the circuit board. A cover has multiple positioning holes to allow extension of threaded bolts through the positioning holes, the fixing holes, the circuit board and into the heat conductive plate to secure engagement among the heat conductive plate, the circuit board, the fixing plate, the transparent plate and the cover.

High illumosity lighting assembly

An aquarium thermostat comprises a ventilation box and a transforming mechanism disposed in the ventilation box such that the transforming mechanism is regulated by a microcomputer control mechanism to effect the generation of heating or cooling energy by which the aquarium water flowing into the aquarium thermostat is heated or cooled to a present level. The heated or cooled water is then sent back to the interior of the aquarium via a pipe.

Aquarium thermostat

A network-type heat pipe device is disclosed, wherein the network-type heat pipe device comprises a heat dissipating unit with a network shape, a heat absorbing unit of any desired shape, and two single flexible capillary pipes connecting the heat absorbing unit with the heat dissipating unit. The working fluid filled in the heat pipe is of a predetermined quantity smaller than the internal volume of the heat pipe. The inside diameters of the capillary pipes of the network-shaped heat dissipating unit and the connecting capillary pipes are small enough such that the vapor and liquid segments of the working fluid may distribute therein by capillary effect. As the heat absorbing unit is heated, the mutual actions of the pushing or compression force generated due to the vaporization at the heat absorbing unit, the resisting force generated due to the vapor condensation at the heat dissipating unit, and the gravitational force generated due to the liquid segments in the vertical part of the capillary pipes in the heat dissipating unit and the connecting pipes cause a circulating flow for the working fluid to carry heat from the heat absorbing unit to the heat dissipating unit. The heat absorbing unit can be placed under the heat dissipating unit so as to enhance the gravitational force for circulating the working fluid in the single direction in the flow passage and to increase the heat transport from the heat absorbing unit to the heat dissipating unit.

Network-type heat pipe device

This invention makes use of a electronically controlled heating device to form a region of constant high temperature on one side of the insulating material, and causes most of the heat transfer to concentrate in a longitudinal heat flux, which flows across the direction of the thickness of object-to-be-tested, to achieve the effect of one-dimensional heat transfer. When the temperatures on both sides of the insulation material being tested come to a stable state, the temperatures, the thickness of the material, and the heat flux, are measured and used to calculate the heat conductivity. The difference between the ideal two-dimensional heat transfer and the one-dimensional heat transfer can be corrected by the results of a theoretical model. The apparatus has been used to test a material with known heat conductivity. The result of the test conforms well with the expected value. Currently, the prototype which has been developed may be designed with a digital circuit which consists mainly of a single-chip microcomputer to perform PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) temperature control, temperature measurement, parameter input and coefficient calculation and displays functions.

Insulation measuring apparatus which forces heat flow in one direction with a constant temperature region

A controller is provided to control and fix the stroke and frequency of the piston movement of the compressor under various operating conditions. The controller includes a signal generator for providing a first signal, a detector generating a second signal after detecting that the piston has a displacement, and a signal processing unit electrically connected to the signal generator and the detector for outputting a control signal to the compressor after receiving the first signal and the second signal to control a movement of the piston.
