The present disclosure provides an air-interface protocol stack configuration method, a data transmission method, an air-interface protocol stack configuration device and a data transmission device. The air-interface protocol stack configuration method includes steps of: configuring an air-interface protocol stack to be used for data transmission in accordance with data transmission characteristics of communication ends for the data transmission; and transmitting configuration information or identification information about the air-interface protocol stack to at least one of the communication ends for the data transmission.

Processing is performed on the radio bearer at the UE unit according to a requirement of the access network node. The radio bearer may transmit the data stream between the core network and the UE unit.
