Systems and methods for modeling subsurface rock formations based on well log data are provided. Systems include a downhole tool for acquiring data from which borehole dips may be picked and a processor including machine-readable instructions for curvature analysis based on inputs generated from the picked borehole dips data and which may be independent of 2D cross section model orientation. Methods (which may be incorporated in the machine-readable instructions corresponding to the systems) include pre-processing borehole dips data to generate inputs such as true stratigraphic thickness index, Local Constant Dips, borehole structural dip, and attributes for structural dip projections which may be used in a curvature analysis process for generating curvature logs such as standard, curvature along axis and curvature normal to axis logs from for smoothed dips, short zone structural dips and/or long zone structural dips.

Systems and methods for curvature analysis from borehole dips and applications thereof

A web service sandbox system. The web service sandbox system provides a secure mechanism with little to no risk to an origination domain hosting a user agent for the user agent to retrieve content from a potentially insecure web service hosted in another domain and using JSONP to bypass same-origin policy restrictions. The user agent posts a command message to a separate quarantined web session of a sandbox service acting as intermediary between the user agent web session and the web service. The sandbox service makes the actual call to and parses the response from the web service. Scripts from the response are executed only in the quarantined web session of the sandbox service. The resulting 'safe' content obtained from the web service by the sandbox service is returned to the user agent where it may be rendered.

A method for unit testing of business processes for Web services, including steps of mapping the Web service description language (WSDL) elements of a process under test and its partner processes into equivalent Object-Oriented language (OO) elements, and performing testing on the process under test based on Object-Oriented unit testing frameworks. Each Web service interface of the process under test and its partner processes is mapped into an equivalent OO interface, partner stubs are generated on basis of the OO interfaces of the partner processes, WSDL binding and service port information are defined for the generated partner stubs, test cases are formed which contain test logic describing the service invocations between the process under test and its partner processes, and the test cases are executed, wherein the partner stub and its associated mock object collectively implement the service of a corresponding partner process.

Method and apparatus for testing of business processes for web services

The present invention provides a method for restoring a computer operation system comprising at least steps of: a) backing up information related to start up of the computer in an HPA of a hard disk; b) providing a self-checking module in the HPA of the hard disk, and additionally configuring a command for invoking the self-checking module in BIOS of the computer; c) invoking the self-checking module by the BIOS when the computer is booted from the hard disk, and determining by the self-checking module, whether the information related to start up of the computer is destroyed or not, if so, restoring the destroyed parts and then starting up the computer, and if not, directly starting up the computer. With the present invention, each time the computer is booted from the hard disk, the system will automatically check OS boot program files, hard disk boot information, partition table information and data information in a boot sector of a boot partition, and restore those destroyed parts without users' intervention, and thus it facilitates users' utilizations. Meanwhile, the backed up data are stored with the HPA, and the security of the backed up data is ensured.
