A weighing and labeling system has an electronic scale, label printer, and at least one controller. The controller stores information about incoming food packages and drives the printer to produce labels based on the stored information and the weight of the food packages. The labels are transferred to the food packages. Some elements of the system are located in sealable cabinets, and further, some of the elements are mounted on the interior surface on doors hinged to the sealable cabinets. This is advantageous in food production environments requiring frequent cleaning of equipment with sprayed water. In some embodiments the sealable cabinets are positioned on vertical masts and rotatable on the masts.

Sealable rotatable package weighing and labeling system and apparatus

A breathable, liquid-impermeable, apertured film/nonwoven laminate is provided for use as a backsheet on various absorbent articles such as diapers, sanitary napkins, incontinent garments, and the like. The laminate is formed from a nonporous, breathable polymeric film layer, an apertured film layer, and a nonwoven web layer. The layers may be attached in an arrangement where the breathable polymeric film layer is sandwiched between the nonwoven web layer and apertured film layer, or where the apertured film layer is sandwiched between the nonwoven web layer and the breathable film layer. A process for making the laminate is also provided.

Rotatable, multiple lens eye glasses having a frame by which a lens body is supported and by which the eye glasses are adapted to be worn by a person. The frame includes a circumferentially extending U-shaped channel member which rotatably receives a lens body therewithin. Means on said lens body for imparting rotation thereto. Said lens body having a plurality of magnifying lenses formed thereon, whereby rotation of the lens body brings a selected power lens into alignment with the eyes.

Rotatable, multi-focus eye glasses

A member, such as a sheet of paper or plastic, is coated with phosphorescence glow on the dark material and then layered or coated with photographic emulsion so that an image can be produced on the surface of the member by a photographic process, and thereafter, an image can be produced on the surface by illumination means. In another form of the invention, a sheet of paper or plastic has luminescent material incorporated therein to cause one side of the sheet of material to glow in the dark. The sheet is assembled onto a clipboard and thereby provides means by which a written message can easily be formed in the dark.

Electrical multi-circuit switch apparatus includes a flat flux plate and a pyramid-shaped magnet having a base and three or more triangular faces defining intersecting edges, outer edges and an apex. The flux plate is fixed in a molded base in a depression with substantially vertical walls and electrical terminals having portions on said walls. The magnet carries spring arm contacts on its outer edges and is free to rotate, with respect to the flux plate, about whichever intersecting edge contacts the flux plate between stable positions in each of which one of said faces abuts the flux plate for maximum magnetic attraction. The movement is initiated by a downward force at a predetermined location on the base of the magnet and occurs with a magnetic snap action, moving said spring arm contacts in a vertical rocking motion to change the electrical connections between said terminals in a predetermined manner. The apparatus is shown in an automotive exterior lamp control.

Multi-circuit switch apparatus

A motor vehicle headlamp control system wherein a two-position solenoid operated ratcheting switch conducts current from the storage battery to the headlamps. The position of the switch controls the energization of the headlamps and momentary energization of the solenoid changes the position of the switch. The driver may manually energize the solenoid to control the headlamps and the switch is automatically shifted to a position to deenergize the headlamps when the vehicle ignition key is shifted to an 'off' position. Automatic turn-on and delayed turn-off functions are also provided.
