A method for authenticating a user by a wireless service provider security service. The method comprises receiving a multi-level authentication request from a security client, performing first-layer authentication including determining whether values of user identifier (ID) and password from the security client match user ID and password values stored by the network application and associated with the user's network subscriber identifier, performing second-layer authentication including determining whether a response code value from the security client matches a generated code value sent to the security client, performing third-layer authentication including determining whether a radio access network (RAN) attach credential from the security client matches a RAN attach credential stored by the wireless service provider and associated with the network subscriber identifier, and sending the security client an authentication response that confirms authentication of the user based on successful authentication at all three layers, and denies authentication of the user otherwise.

Multi-level authentication security service

A method of controlling an environment using a roaming electronic assistant. The method comprises capturing a plurality of associations of voice commands to device commands coded for a first electronic assistant (EA) device by a home electronic assistant (EA) client application, where each association links a voice command to a corresponding device command coded for the first EA device, and where the first EA device takes action in a home environment based on the voice commands, sending the associations of voice commands to device commands coded for the first EA device to an EA client application executing on a computer system, and building a mapping of the associations for the first EA device to associations for a second EA device by the EA client application, where each association for the second EA device links a voice command to a device command coded for the second EA device.

Presentation layer for portable electronic assistant

A mobile communication device. The device comprises a central processing unit (CPU), a graphics processing unit (GPU), and a memory comprising a mobile application incorporating a search client that. When executed by at least one of the CPU and the GPU, the application receives an input selecting the search client, begins execution in a trusted security zone execution mode wherein instructions of the search client execute in the GPU, creates a genesis block of a block chain via the search client instructions executing in the GPU, creates an event block of the block chain via the search client instructions executing in the GPU, attaches the event block to the block chain via the search client instructions executing in the GPU, transmits the block chain to a data store, and reverts to execution in a normal execution mode.

Performance metrics collection and promulgation from within a mobile application

A mobile communication device that customizes a user interface of the mobile communication device based on a pre-loaded customization manifest. The device comprises a processor; a non-transitory memory; and a customization application stored in the non-transitory memory, wherein the customization application comprises data defining a plurality of customization manifests and comprises instructions that, when executed by the processor, determines that a universal integrated circuit card (UICC) has been installed, reads identity information from the UICC, wherein the identity information is associated with a wireless communication service provider, based on the identity information, selects a customization manifest that is one of the plurality of customization manifests, and writes at least some of the contents of the selected customization manifest into non-volatile (NV) parameters in the non-transitory memory, whereby a user interface of the mobile communication device is customized for use with the wireless communication service provider.

The method comprises receiving user environment setting preferences, user entertainment service authorizations, and user entertainment authorization credentials from devices in a home environment by an application executing on a computer system, establishing communication by the application with a destination location, receiving information about application programming interfaces (APIs) of devices located in the destination location by the application, establishing communication with the devices located in the destination location by the application based on the API information, whereby a presentation layer of the application is enabled to control the environment of the user at the destination location based on the user environment setting preferences, the user entertainment service authorizations, and the user entertainment authorization credentials.

The mobile communication device comprises a radio frequency transceiver, a processor, a memory comprising a system partition and a non-system partition, wherein the system partition comprises a hidden application, and an installer application stored in the system partition of the memory. When executed by the processor, the installer application receives a first message comprising an identity of an enterprise and a communication address of an application download service, sends a second message to the communication address received in the first message, wherein the second message comprises the identity of the enterprise received in the first message, receives a third message that comprises an enterprise application associated with the identity of the enterprise, installs the enterprise application in the system partition of memory in the place of the hidden application, and sets the status of the enterprise application to visible status.

A mobile communication device. The device comprises a cellular radio transceiver, a processor, and a memory integral with the device, wherein the memory is apportioned into a plurality of partitions. The device further comprises a first wireless communication identity stored in a first partition of the memory and a second wireless communication identity stored in a second partition of the memory, wherein the second wireless communication identity is different from the first wireless communication identity. The device further comprises an application stored in the memory that, when executed by the processor, detects a triggering event and in response to the triggering event selects one of the wireless communication identities to be an active communication identity of the device, wherein a wireless communication identity comprises a network access identity and a list of wireless communication systems to which the device is authorized to attach.

A mobile communication device comprising a radio transceiver, wherein the memory is apportioned into a plurality of partitions, a first carrier identity stored in a first partition of the memory, wherein a carrier identity comprises a network access identity, a list of device capabilities, a list of application configurations and a specific user experience associated to the carrier identity. A second carrier identity stored in a second partition of the memory. An Application loaded on the device, that when executed by the processor, detects a triggering event and in response to the detection changes the active carrier identity of the mobile communication device to one of the carrier identities stored in the partitions of the memory and applies configurations associated with the carrier identity, where the mobile communication device conducts wireless communication via the radio transceiver based on the wireless communication network associated with the selected carrier identity.
