A fluid dispensing machine includes a frame and a fixture held by the frame. The fixture is configured to support a substrate. A positioning system is supported by the frame. A guidance system is supported by the positioning system. The guidance system has a camera viewing the fixture that is movable relative to the fixture. A fluid dispenser is supported by the positioning system and is moved by the positioning system relative to the fixture. The fluid dispenser is configured to dispense fluid onto the substrate. A controller communicates with the positioning system and the guidance system. The controller operates the positing system to control a position of the fluid dispenser relative to the fixture based on an image obtained by the camera.

A wire sorting fixture includes a cable support configured to support a multi-wire cable and a wire support configured to support wires of the cable. The wire support has a top surface. The wire support has cradles open at the top surface. The wire support has separating walls between corresponding cradles. A top plate is positioned above the wire support. The top plate is moved toward the wire support to a clamping position after the wires are positioned in the corresponding cradles. The top plate holds the wires between the top plate and the wire support in the clamping position.

Wire sorting fixture and method of sorting wires

A component feeding system includes a platform and a tray supported by the platform having a component support surface for supporting a plurality of components. An agitation unit is supported by the platform and is operatively coupled to the tray to agitate the tray to cause the components to move on the tray. A guidance system is supported by the platform and has a camera viewing the tray. A positioning system is supported by the platform and a component gripper is supported by the positioning system and moved by the positioning system relative to the tray. The component gripper is configured to pick and place components on the tray. A controller communicates with the agitation unit, the positioning system, the component gripper and the guidance system. The controller operates the agitation unit, the positioning system and the component gripper based on an image obtained by the camera.

A guidance system is supported by the positioning system. The guidance system has a camera viewing the fixture that is movable relative to the fixture. A wire manipulator is supported by the positioning system and is moved by the positioning system relative to the fixture. The wire manipulator is configured to engage the wires of the cable to position the wires relative to the fixture. A controller communicates with the positioning system and the guidance system. The controller operates the positing system to control a position of the wire manipulator relative to the fixture based on an image obtained by the camera.

Wire sorting machine and method of sorting wires

A method of separating wires from a wire bundle includes positioning a cable with a wire bundle at a wire separating area, positioning a gas nozzle at the wire separating area, and directing gas flow at the wire bundle to separate the wires from the wire bundle. A wire separating system is used to separate wires and including a cable holder having a fixture holding a cable with a wire bundle extending into a wire separating area. The system includes a gas nozzle at the wire separating area that directs gas flow into the wire separating area at the wire bundle. The gas flow separates individual wires from the wire bundle. A wire gripper is provided at the wire separating area. The wire gripper grasps the separated wire from the wire bundle.
