An application-level memory control group of a first application may be created when the first application is opened. An anonymous page of the first application is added to a least recently used linked list of the application-level memory control group, and a file page of the first application is added to a global least recently used linked list. An application-level memory control group is created in a dimension of an application, and an anonymous page of the application is managed in a refined manner. In addition, a file page of the application-level memory control group may be managed based on a global least recently used linked list.

Application-level memory control group memory reclamation

A hybrid storage device includes an interface configured to electrically couple the hybrid storage device to an external device, and exchange data with the external device, a plurality of storage channels electrically coupled to the interface and configured to exchange the data with the interface, a plurality of chip select lines, where each of the chip select lines is electrically coupled to one storage channel in the storage channels and configured to exchange the data with the one storage channel, and a plurality of storage medium particles, where each of the storage medium particles is electrically coupled to one chip select line and configured to exchange the data with the one chip select line. A system startup method includes creating a first thread when a kernel driver in a kernel mode detects a first disk partition, reading, in the kernel mode, metadata of the first disk partition using the first thread, and writing the metadata of the first disk partition into a first page cache using the first thread. In the kernel mode, metadata of a disk partition is pre-cached into a page cache using the first thread, and in a subsequent process in a user mode, the metadata of the disk partition is directly read from the page cache. A storage area of the page cache is memory and has a higher read/write operation rate compared with a disk.
