The cover plate includes a first region corresponding to a position of the bending region and a second region positioned at two sides of the first region, and the cover plate further includes a first surface configured to face the flexible display substrate. The cover plate includes first and second side edges parallel to a first direction, the first direction is perpendicular to a bending axis of the foldable display module, and a portion of the second region close to the first side edge or/and the second side edge has a reinforcement strip which is disposed on the first surface.
