The present disclosure relates to a series of tricyclic compounds, their tautomers, polymorphs, stereoisomers, prodrugs, solvates, pharmaceutically acceptable salts, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and methods of treating conditions and diseases that are mediated by adenosine receptor (AR) activity. The disclosure also relates to process of preparation of these tricyclic compounds of Formula I. These compounds are useful in the treatment, prevention or suppression of diseases and disorders that may be susceptible to improvement by antagonism of the adenosine receptor. The disclosure also relates to the process of preparation of the tricyclic compounds, and to pharmaceutical compositions containing them. Formula (I) wherein D represents a tricyclic ring system selected from: Formula (II) or Formula (III). 

The present application relates to a commercially viable process for the preparation of Patiromer, a crosslinked polymer. More particularly the present application relates to a commercially viable process for the preparation of Patiromer sorbitex calcium, an active ingredient useful in the treatment of hyperkalemia.

The present invention relates to compounds useful as CCR9 modulators, to compositions containing them, to methods of making them, and to methods of using them. In particular, the present invention relates to compounds capable of modulating the function of the CCR9 receptor by acting as partial agonists, antagonists or inverse agonists. Such compounds may be useful to treat, prevent or ameliorate a disease or condition associated with CCR9 activation, including inflammatory and immune disorder diseases or conditions such as inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD).

The inventive compounds selectively inhibit aldosterone synthase. Pyrazolopyridyl compounds as aldosterone synthase inhibitors

This invention relates to triazolopyridyl compounds of the structural formula: or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, wherein the variable are defined herein. The inventive compounds selectively inhibit aldosterone synthase. This invention also provides for pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds of Formula I or their salts as well as potentially to methods for the treatment, amelioration or prevention of conditions that could be treated by inhibiting aldosterone synthase.

Triazolopyridyl compounds as aldosterone synthase inhibitors

The present application provides novel pyridine compounds and pharmaceutically acceptable salts or prodrugs thereof. Also provided are methods for preparing these compounds. These compounds are useful in inhibiting CYP17 activity by administering a therapeutically effective amount of one or more of the compounds to a patient. By doing so, these compounds are effective in treating conditions associated with CYP17 activity. A variety of conditions can be treated using these compounds and include diseases which are characterized by abnormal cellular proliferation. In one embodiment, the disease is cancer, such as prostate cancer.

Pyridine derivatives

The invention involves compounds of structural Formula (I) and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds of the invention are effective at selectively inhibiting CYP11B2, and are therefore useful for the treatment or prophylaxis of disorders that are associated with elevated aldosterone levels, including, but not limited to, hypertension and heart failure.

These compounds are useful in the treatment, prevention, prophylaxis, management, or adjunct treatment of all medical conditions related to inhibition of Bruton's tyrosine kinase (Btk), such as inflammatory and/or autoimmune disorder, cell proliferation, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, transplant rejection, graft-versus-host disease, multiple sclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease, allergic diseases, asthma, type 1 diabetes, myasthenia gravis, hematopoetic disfunction, B-cell malignancies, systemic lupus, erythematosus or other disorders.
