A ganged connector assembly includes: a plurality of coaxial cables; a plurality of coaxial connectors, each of the coaxial connectors connected with a respective one of the plurality of coaxial cables; a shell surrounding the coaxial connectors, the shell defining a plurality of electrically isolated cavities, each of the coaxial connectors being located in a respective cavity; a latch that is pivotally attached relative to the shell via a post that extends from the shell and receives an opening in the latch, wherein the latch is configured to engage a pin on a mating ganged connector assembly to secure the ganged connector assembly and the mating ganged connector assembly in a mated condition; and a radially outwardly-extending protrusion associated with the post that prevents the latch from slipping off of the post.

A mated connector assembly includes: a first connector assembly, comprising a plurality of first coaxial connectors mounted on a mounting structure and a first shell; and a second connector assembly, comprising a plurality of second coaxial connectors, each of the second coaxial connectors connected with a respective coaxial cable and mated with a respective first coaxial connector. The second connector assembly includes a second shell surrounding the second coaxial connectors, the second shell defining a plurality of electrically isolated cavities, each of the second coaxial connectors being located in a respective cavity. In in a mated condition the second shell resides within the first shell.

The present disclosure describes a cable reel. The cable reel may include a hollow core having a width; a first wall coupled to an end of the core and extending radially outward a distance from the core, the first wall comprising an opening aligned with the hollow core and at least one support member extending across the opening; and a second wall coupled to an opposing end of the core and extending radially outwardly a distance from the core, the second wall comprising an opening aligned with the hollow core; wherein the first wall and the second wall form a gap therebetween equal to the width of the core, the gap being configured to hold a length of excess cable wrapped around the core. An enclosure for distributing trunk cable to jumper cables includes: a compartment divider with a main panel, a top wall, a bottom wall, opposed side walls, at least one dividing wall that spans the side walls, and a guide wall that spans the top and bottom walls, the compartment divider including a plurality of compartments, each formed by the main panel, the guide wall, one of the side walls, and at least two of the top wall, the bottom wall, and the at least one dividing wall; and a cover that covers the compartment divider to enclose the compartments. The guide wall is configured to form a convex area and a concave area in each compartment. The enclosure further includes a jumper cable entry aperture in each compartment and a jumper cable exit aperture located on one of the side walls.
