An ultrasound transducer assembly is connectable to an ultrasound system and comprises one or more ultrasound transducer elements supported by a cap. The ultrasound transducer elements are operable to direct ultrasound energy toward brain tissue of a subject and/or to receive echo ultrasound energy when the ultrasound transducer assembly is mounted on the head of the subject. Some embodiments include a fillable jacket coupled to the inner surface of the cap and in acoustic contact with the one or more transducer elements.

Methods and systems confirm the treatment focus location of ultrasound energy to be delivered to a patient from a plurality of transducers. The location of focus of treatment ultrasound may be confirmed prior to the start of ultrasound therapy. An identification system includes a radar sensor configured to generate a time-domain or frequency-domain signal representative of electromagnetic waves reflected from one or more objects within a three-dimensional space over a period of time and a computation engine executing on one or more processors. The neurogram may then be used to create a synthetic neuromodulatory signal that can be administered to a user. When the synthetic neuromodulatory signal is administered to the user, the user may experience the same effect as the subject that had been placed in the condition, even though the user was never put under the same condition.

A system comprises one or more observation stations. Each observation station of the one or more observation stations comprises a corresponding set of one or more sensors.
