A method of positioning a target node (-) in a side-link communication system in a wireless communication network () is described. The method comprises establishing a communication link with the target node (-), and a second node (-), for positioning the target node (-). The first node (-) transmits a capability request message to the target node (-) and the second node (-) and receives a feedback message comprising a capability reply message and an acceptance message. The first node (-) configures the second node (-) for transmitting and receiving a Positioning Reference Signal (PRS) to or from the target node (-), based on the feedback message. The PRS is utilized for determining position measurement of the target node (-). The first node (-) receives data related to the position measurement and estimated position of the target node (-), from the target node (-) and the second node (-).

System and method of positioning of a target node in side-link communication system

The present invention relates to a method of reducing blind decoding attempts by a User Equipment (UE) in a telecommunication network. The method comprises configuring a Search Space (SS) configuration to the UE. A Base Station (BS) signals one of a subset of Aggregation Levels (ALs) to be monitored based on channel quality of the UE and an associated time period, and a value of multiplication factor (k) and an associated time period. The UE iteratively monitors a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) on the ALs signalled by the BS till the UE stops receiving a new configuration. The UE performs one of adopting an original configuration, requesting the BS for a new configuration, utilizing a default configuration or utilizing an original configuration.

A method includes receiving at least one parameter associated with the each of at least one IAB node (), determining a resource configuration comprising of resources to be allocated to the DU of each of the at least one IAB node () based on at least one resource allocation criteria and the at least one parameter, indicating the resource configuration for the DU of each of the at least one IAB node (). The method includes signaling a timing advance (TA) value to at least one IAB node () based on a plurality of parameters, evaluating at least one of a UL-Tx timing and a DL-Tx timing based on the TA value signaled, configuring a cell-specific signal and channel (CSSC) to the DU of the reference node based on the at least one parameter, and timing alignment in a IAB network ().

The method comprises signalling information related to multiplexing capability and supported modes of operation from the child IAB node to the parent IAB node. An active mode of operation is determined at the child IAB node. The configuration to operate in the active mode of operation is signalled to the child IAB node. Timing Advance (TA) for each active mode of operation, guard information for each active mode of operation are signalled as configuration for the active mode of operation. Further, the method comprises signalling exchanges for fallback from one mode of operation to another at child IAB nodes.

Method of signalling in an integrated access and backhaul network

A system and a method for performing uplink (UL) time synchronization in non-terrestrial networks (NTN) include Performing Downlink (DL) synchronization SSB signals. At least one information is received by a UEfrom an NTN BS. A location information of a satellite is obtained using the at least one information received by the UE. Location of the UEis estimated using one of GNSS receiver of the UEand by processing at least one reference signal received by the UEfrom multiple NTN-BS, using at least one multilateration technique and RTK. Timing Advance (TA) estimate is determined using the location of the satellite and location of the UE. TA applied is determined using the TA estimate and TA margin. PRACH is transmitted based on the TA applied and an information related to the TA applied is reported to the NTN-BS. Residual TA is estimated using the reported information related to the TA applied and the detected PRACH. The residual TA is indicated to the UEfor subsequent UL transmissions, in order to achieve the UL time synchronization in the NTN based communication network.

Methods and systems for uplink time synchronization in non-terrestrial networks based communication

Accordingly embodiments herein achieve signaling method and system () for provisioning signalling in an Integrated Access Backhaul (IAB) network (). The method includes providing a set of modifications in uplink and downlink signaling for an IAB node (). The modifications either help to reduce the control channel payload or enable more flexible signaling of resources, improve efficient control channel scheduling and also avoid conflicts that might arise due to discrepancies between semi static and dynamic resource allocation.

Method and system for provisioning signalling in integrated access backhaul (IAB) network

Signaling methods to alter the number of control channel blind decodings in integrated access and backhaul

The present invention relates to a method of signalling in an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) network. The method comprises signalling metrics from a parent IAB node to a child IAB node for association of the child IAB node with the parent IAB node. Information related to multiplexing capability and supported modes of operation is signalled from the child IAB node to the parent IAB node. An active mode of operation is determined at the child IAB node. Timing Advance (TA) for each active mode of operation, guard information for each active mode of operation, and exchanges for In-Band Full Duplexing (IBFD) mode of operation are signalled. Further, fallback capability of IAB nodes during presence of Self-Interference (SI) is also signalled.

Embodiments herein provide a method and system for managing Grant-free data transmission in a radio communication network. The proposed method includes composing, by a Base Station (BS), a Select Signal (SS) for a transceiver device, where the SS is configured to control a grant-free data transmission from the transceiver device. Further, the proposed method includes transmitting, by the BS, the SS to the transceiver device. Further, the proposed method includes receiving, by a transceiver device, the SS from the BS. Further, the proposed method includes decoding, by the transceiver device, the SS and furthermore, the proposed method includes controlling, by the transceiver device, a data transmission by one of activating the grant-free data transmission from the transceiver device in response to successful decoding of the SS, and deactivating the grant-free data transmission from the transceiver device in response to unsuccessful decoding of the SS.
