Systems and methods for predicting computing system issues include: receiving a set of incident management tickets for a set of computing system issues and a set of computer log files for multiple modules of the computing system; arranging the set of tickets into chronologically ordered groups associated with particular computing system issues; pre-processing the set of computer log files to remove specified information, append to each log entry an indicator of the module of the log file, and merge the log entries; determining for each group a set of patterns for the group's associated computing system issue before the group's associated computing system issue arises; calculating for each pattern in each group a similarity score; selecting a subset of patterns whose similarity scores exceed a specified threshold; and generating a computing model associating the subset of patterns in each group with the group's associated computing system issue.

Systems and methods for predicting and preventing computing system issues

A graphics server and method for streaming rendered content via a remote graphics rendering service is provided. In one embodiment, the server includes a memory, a graphics renderer, a frame capturer, an encoder, and a processor. The memory is configured to store a pre-computed skip-frame message indicative to a client to re-use a previously transmitted frame of the video stream. The graphics renderer is configured to identify when rendered content has not changed. When the graphics renderer identifies that the rendered content has not changed, the processor is configured to cause: (1) the frame capturer to not capture the frames of the rendered content; (2) the encoder to not encode the frames of the rendered content; and (3) the pre-encoded skip-frame message to be transmitted without requiring any pixel processing.

Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with computing scenario forecasts according to electronic inputs are described. In one embodiment, a method includes, in response to receiving a signal that triggers data collection, collecting electronic data from one or more electronic databases by aggregating the electronic data into data structures of a processing table. The electronic data defines historic values of a set of instruments. The method also includes computing projected values for each of the set of instruments according to correlations identified in the historic values. The projected values form primary forecasts that model expected future values of the set of instruments. The method includes, in response to receiving electronic inputs including scenario variables of a scenario that affects the primary forecasts, generating scenario forecasts for the set of instruments according to the scenario variables and the projected values to identify how the scenario influences the primary forecasts.

Methods and systems are described for data lineage identification and change impact prediction. Servers capture metadata that defines data objects associated with data sources. The servers determine direct relationships between data sources based upon the captured metadata. The servers identify indirect relationships between the data sources. The servers generate a data lineage across the data sources for the data objects. The servers extract unstructured text from database incident tickets and match the unstructured text to the metadata. The servers generate a multidimensional vector for the data objects based upon the data lineage and the unstructured text. The servers train a classification model using the vectors to predict a change impact score for each data object. The servers receive a request to change a data object. The servers determine a change impact score for the data object. When the score is below a threshold, the servers execute the change.

A graphics server and method for streaming rendered content via a remote graphics rendering service. One embodiment of the graphics server includes: (1) a frame capturer configured to capture frames of rendered content at a frame rate, (2) an encoder configured to encode captured frames at the frame rate, and (3) a processor configured to cause encoded frames to be transmitted if the rendered content is at least partially changed, and cause a skip-frame message to be transmitted, the skip-frame message configured to cause the frame capturer to forgo capturing and the encoder to forgo encoding if the rendered content is unchanged.
