Curable adhesive compositions comprising a silane coupling agent; a polymer, the polymer having a reactive silicon end group; a catalyst operable to facilitate the curing of the polymer; and, a diluent and wherein the polymer comprises about 0.1% to about 30% by weight of the curable adhesive composition. The curable adhesive compositions may further comprise a dehydrating agent comprising a component selected from the group consisting of: vinyl trimethoxysilane, vinyl alkoxysilane, inorganic zeolites, and organic zeolites.

Methods and compositions for consolidating particulate matter in a subterranean formation

Methods of treating a subterranean formation can comprise introducing a pre-flush fluid into a subterranean formation having particulate matter therein; introducing a curable adhesive composition comprising a silane coupling agent and a polymer, the polymer having a reactive silicon end group, into the subterranean formation subsequent to the pre-flush fluid; introducing an aqueous post-flush fluid into the subterranean formation subsequent to the curable adhesive composition; and allowing the curable adhesive composition to at least partially consolidate particulate matter within the subterranean formation.

Methods comprising mixing particulates with a consolidating agent emulsion to form a slurry; creating a foamed slurry by adding a foaming agent and a gas to the slurry; placing the foamed slurry into a portion of a subterranean formation so as to create a particulate pack; and flushing the particulate pack with a postflush fluid. In some embodiments, the consolidating agent emulsion composition comprises a resin composition.

Methods and compositions for packing void spaces and stabilizing formations surrounding a wellbore

Of the methods provided herein, is a method comprising: providing a clean-up fluid comprising a peroxide-generating compound and an aqueous base fluid; placing the clean-up fluid in a subterranean formation; removing contaminants from at least a portion of the subterranean formation to form a cleaned portion of the formation; providing a consolidation agent; placing the consolidation agent on at least a portion of the cleaned portion of the formation; and allowing the consolidation agent to adhere to at least a plurality of unconsolidated particulates in the cleaned portion of the formation.

Formation conditioning fluids comprising peroxides and methods relating thereto

Methods and compositions for consolidating particulate matter in a subterranean formation are provided. In one embodiment, a method of treating a subterranean formation includes coating a curable adhesive composition comprising a silane coupling agent and a polymer having a reactive silicon end group onto proppant material; suspending the coated proppant material in a carrier fluid to form a proppant slurry; introducing the proppant slurry into a subterranean formation; and allowing the curable adhesive composition to at least partially consolidate the proppant material in the subterranean formation.

Methods comprising: providing at least a plurality of liquid hardenable resin coated particulates that have been at least partially coated with a liquid hardenable resin component; providing at least a plurality of liquid hardening agent coated particulates that have been at least partially coated with a liquid hardening agent component; suspending the liquid hardenable resin coated particulates and the liquid hardening agent coated particulates in a treatment fluid; and placing the treatment fluid into a subterranean formation. Methods comprising: providing at least a plurality of coated particulates that have been at least partially coated with one component of a two component resin system; coating at least a plurality of the coated particulates on a job site with a second component of a two component resin system; suspending the coated particulates in a treatment fluid; and placing the treatment fluid into a subterranean formation.

Methods of coating particulates

The present invention relates to treatment operations in subterranean zones, and more particularly, to consolidation compositions and methods of using these consolidation compositions to mitigate water production from subterranean formations. The present invention provides methods for mitigating the production of water from a subterranean formation by injecting consolidation compositions comprising a furan-based resin into an interval in the subterranean formation.

A particulate slurry for use in subterranean formations comprising a carrier fluid, a first portion of particulates, and a second portion of particulates wherein the first portion of particulates is at least partially coated with resin or tackifying agent and wherein the second portion of particulates is substantially free of resin or tackifying agent.

Methods of coating resin and blending resin-coated proppant

Methods of continuously forming and suspending hardenable resin-fibrous material composite coated proppant in a carrier liquid are provided. The methods basically comprise dissolving a hardenable resin composition and a fibrous material in a solvent which is insoluble in the carrier liquid, pumping the carrier liquid, combining uncoated proppant with the carrier liquid as the carrier liquid is pumped and combining the hardenable resin composition-fibrous material solution with the carrier liquid as the carrier liquid is pumped whereby the proppant is coated with a hardenable resin composition-fibrous material composite.

The present invention provides a corrosion inhibitor intensifier for acidizing solutions for use in subterranean formation treatments wherein the corrosion inhibitor comprises a quaternary ammonium compound. The intensifier comprises an effective amount of a source of iodide ions and a source of formic acid.
