Described is a process for augmenting or enhancing the lemon flavored and/or aroma of foodstuffs and chewing gums comprising the step of adding to such foodstuffs an aroma or taste augmenting or enhancing quantity of fenchyl ethyl ether.

C.sub.10 -terpene alkyl, alkenyl, haloalkyl, and alkynyl ethers and

Described are perfume and cologne compositions containing the compound 3(2-chloroalkyloxy).sub.2 (10) pinene.
