Described herein are various embodiments for intelligent advertisement generation and distribution. An embodiment operates by determining website history information about a plurality of consumers and an ad history information about the plurality of consumers. The advertisement is provided for display on a computing device for each consumer of at least a subset of consumers of the plurality of consumers responsive to a first bid opportunity for the advertisement to be displayed. Website actions of the subset of consumers to whom the advertisement was provided for display are tracked. A predictive model that the bid opportunity lead to a conversion is generated based on the website history, ad history, and the tracking of website actions. A price to bid for a second bid opportunity is generated. The generated price to bid is submitted for the second bid opportunity to display the advertisement to a marketplace.

Intelligent electronic advertisement generation and distribution

A method may include determining a combination of values of attributes represented by reference data associated with computing devices by training a machine learning model based on an association between (i) respective values of the attributes and (ii) the computing devices entering a device state. The combination may be correlated with entry into the device state. The method may also include selecting a subset of the computing devices that is associated with the combination of values. The method may additionally include determining a first rate at which computing devices of the subset have entered the device state during a first time period and a second rate at which one or more computing devices associated with the combination have entered the device state during a second time period, and generating an indication that the two rates differ.

Product metrics monitoring and anomaly detection using machine learning models

A method may include determining a combination of values of attributes represented by reference data associated with payment transaction by training a machine learning model based on an association between (i) respective values of the attributes and (ii) the payment transactions having a given result. The combination may be correlated with having the given result. The method may also include selecting a subset of the payment transactions that is associated with the combination of values. Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for modifying one or more parameters of a data streaming bitrate selection algorithm based on machine learning. An example embodiment operates by training and operating a first machine learning model to predict a sustainable network bandwidth. A second machine learning model is trained to receive the sustainable network bandwidth and predict a likelihood that this network bandwidth will not empty a data buffer of streaming data. A bitrate is selected based on the likelihood being below a threshold percentage, such as 50%.

In particular, the presented platform is configured for determining incremental lift of a product due to an advertisement and/or a promotion that is distributed online. Presented herein, therefore, are devices, systems, and methods of monitoring, measuring, and/or optimizing lift of an advertising campaign, such as a real-time, digital ad buying campaign implemented by a suitably configured advertising platform.

A decision dashboard system to balance competing objectives in a control system suggests control parameter settings for the control system based on specified weights for the competing objectives. For example, given a target amount of energy consumption for a campus-wide, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) control system, providing an optimal amount of climate control to the different campus locations may compete against the length of time climate control is provided to each of the locations. In some aspects, sets of control system settings may be used to predict outcomes based on a history of control parameter settings and measurements from the control system. In further aspects, the predicted outcomes and their associated control parameter settings may be mapped to different weights for the competing objectives and displayed in a graphical user interface.

Motion detecting devices may be used to help monitor and guide human subjects interacting with objects. An activity monitoring station may receive an interaction schedule for a human subject. The schedule may list objects with which the human subject is scheduled to interact. The station may receive motion data from a motion detecting device worn by the subject and a device situated on or in an object. The station may generate a motion alignment score, based on the motion data, and may determine that the subject has interacted with the object, based on the alignment score. The station may also automatically determine whether the interaction is an approved interaction or a disapproved interaction, based on the schedule. The station may automatically cause an approval or disapproval signal to be generated for the human subject. Interaction reports may be generated and transmitted to caregivers. Methods and apparatus for monitoring and guiding human subjects interacting with objects

Embodiments of the present invention provide devices and methods for monitoring the waste output of one or more individuals. Embodiments provide a waste receptacle equipped with one or more cameras capable of imaging the contents of the waste receptacle and optionally a scale that is capable of measuring the weight of the waste receptacle or the weight of the contents of the waste receptacle. The waste receptacle optionally communicates wirelessly with a base station that is able to store images of the contents of the waste receptacle and communicate automatically with remote caregivers. Algorithms are provided that are capable of providing a signal to a caregiver to alert the caregiver if the waste receptacle is not in use.

An apparatus and a method for detecting cardiac atrial fibrillation events in an EKG signal. The method comprises the steps of detecting a portion of an EKG signal comprising cardiac beats; measuring the duration of a gap in the detected portion of the EKG signal; and computing two or more inter-beat intervals. The computed interval is outputted if the gap in the portion of the EKG signal is not more than a fraction alpha of the computed interval. The method further includes the steps of computing the variance of the inter-beat intervals and classifying the portions of the EKG signal as indicative of an atrial fibrillation event. During classification, the inter-beat interval variance of the portion of the EKG signal that exceeds a pre-determined value V is indicative of an atrial fibrillation event. The method further includes discarding portions of the EKG signal classified as indicative of atrial fibrillation if said portions have a duration less than a pre-determined threshold S and annotating the EKG signal. The non-discarded portions of the EKG signals having inter-beat variances that exceed V are annotated as atrial fibrillation events.

Method and apparatus for improving the accuracy of atrial fibrillation detection in lossy data systems

Computer method and apparatus of analyzing ECG signals of a subject include receiving a subject electrocardiogram signal and comparing it against signal patterns of known cardiac syndromes. A library of example predefined signals is employed. Distance measures indicating similarity of the subject signal to the example predefined signals are produced and form a sequence of vectors. The sequence of vectors are input into a classifier which determines existence of signal patterns indicative of any cardiac syndromes in the subject.

Each detector produces a respective indication of likelihood of certain heart conditions existing in the subject. A lattice having annotations of the different detector heart conditions is formed from the detector indications. The lattice enables medical personnel to navigate through and hence more easily read the ECG signal data. The lattice effectively provides an indexed or annotated version of the subject ECG signal.

A method and apparatus transforms typically differing length text string representations (i.e., sequences) of biological fragments into uniform length representations. A comparison database stores a predefined number of known biological sequences. A comparison routine compares and scores a subject sequence against each known sequence in the database. Each individual score (one for each known sequence in the database) serves as a vector element forming a fixed length vector representation of the subject sequence. Vector length equals the predefined number of known biological sequences in the database. Scoring is a probability or an occurrence count of the known biological sequence in the subject sequence.
