A building management system (BMS) interface system. The BMS interface system includes a user interface and a BMS controller in communication with the user interface. The BMS controller includes a processor. The processor is configured to display a graphical scheduling interface on the user interface and receive a scheduling input from the user interface. The processor is further configured to extract one or more scheduling elements from the received scheduling input and convert the scheduling elements into one or more BMS data objects. The processor is further configured to update the graphical scheduling interface displayed on the user interface. The processor is also configured to execute one or more scheduling instructions based on the received scheduling input, wherein the scheduling instructions are associated with the operation of one or more BMS devices.

Systems and methods for interfacing with a building management system

A system that serves a space includes one or more data sources that provide utilization data describing an actual utilization of the space and circuitry configured to calculate a utilization attribute of the space based on the utilization data and retrieve, from a space profile for the space, a utilization target corresponding to the utilization attribute. The space profile is selected from a plurality of selectable space profiles defining a plurality of target utilizations. The circuitry is also configured to generate a normalized utilization metric for the space by normalizing the utilization attribute relative to the utilization target and generate a recommendation for the space based on the normalized utilization metric.

A method of controlling building equipment to facilitate repurposing of a space includes selecting a first job profile for a space. The first job profile corresponds to a first job to be performed at the space and defines a first set of control logic configured to cause building equipment that serve the space to facilitate the first job. The method includes controlling the building equipment using the first set of control logic and selecting a second job profile for the space in response to determining that a second job different from the first job will be performed at the space. The second job profile corresponds to the second job and defines a second set of control logic configured to cause the building equipment to facilitate the second job. A controller for a space controls a plurality of devices, where each device is associated with one of a plurality of different building domains. The controller includes one or more processors operably coupled to one or more computer-readable storage media and configured to execute instructions stored in the computer-readable storage media to determine a plurality of use cases defined for the space, each use case associated with a required set of building domains, determine, for each of the different building domains, whether devices of building equipment are operational to serve the space, determine a set of enabled use cases by, for each use case, enabling the use case if devices of building equipment are operational to serve the space for each building domain in the required set of the different building domains and control the plurality of devices in accordance with the set of enabled use cases.

A building management system includes a plurality of devices of building equipment and a system manager. The system manager is configured to control the devices of building equipment and generate a user interface. The user interface includes a command widget configured to allow a user to input a first command to control a first device of the plurality of devices of building equipment and an add annotation box configured to allow a user to add an annotation to the command. The system manager is further configured to control the first device in response to the command and store the annotation in an annotation database.

A building management system includes a plurality of devices of building equipment and a controller configured to associate a space with a first group of devices that serve the space. The first space profile includes a plurality of modes each corresponding to a different functional state of the space. The control engine is also configured to select a mode of the plurality of modes of the first space profile, determine a setting of the set of settings of the first space profile based on the selected mode, and control the one or more devices that serve the space in accordance with the settings defined by the first space profile and the selected mode.

A building management system includes a plurality of devices of building equipment that operate across multiple building equipment domains. Each of the plurality of devices serves one or more spaces. The building management system also includes a control engine configured to, for each space, associate the space with a first group of the plurality of devices. The first group includes multiple devices that serve the space and that operate across the multiple building equipment domains. The control engine is further configured to select a space profile from a plurality of space profiles. At least two of the space profiles are associated with a different type of space serving a different function, and at least two of the space profiles include settings for the multiple devices of the first group. The control engine is also configured to distribute the settings defined by the selected space profile to the multiple devices of the first group.

A system for filtering items to be displayed on a graphical user interface provided to a client and for interaction by a user, the graphical user interface for a building automation system, is provided. The system includes a processor and memory communicably coupled to the processor. The memory includes computer code for allowing the user to create a filter definition via a computer based form. The memory further includes computer code for saving the created filter definition to memory and computer code for applying the saved filter definition to a set of building automation system data items. The memory yet further includes computer code for generating the graphical user interface, the graphical user interface including results of the applied filter definition.
