A method for adjusting a resolver of an electric machine is provided. A resolver rotor is an adjustable element of the resolver and mounted by friction on a support so that a relative angular position with respect to the support may be adjusted by exerting a torque between the resolver rotor and the support. The method includes steps of: measuring an offset angle of the resolver to be corrected; as long as the offset is not less than an predetermined tolerance, locking the resolver rotor with respect to a resolver stator; launching the correction by energizing a main stator of the electric machine so that the electric machine develops a correction torque causing rotation of the resolver rotor with respect to a shaft of the electric machine by the measured offset; and freeing the resolver rotor. Subsequently the method returns to the measuring step.

Method for the automatic adjustment of a resolver of an electric machine

A rotating electrical machine includes a rotation shaft rotatably installed in a bearing that includes a portion secured onto the shaft and a portion removably attached to a supporting surface connected to a casing. The supporting surface includes an axial abutment for the bearing and a passageway traversed by the shaft. A resolver of the machine includes a resolver stator connected to the casing, and a resolver rotor having a diameter less than that of the passageway. The resolver rotor is attached to the shaft on an opposite side of a drive rotor relative to the bearing. A longitudinal position of parts installed on the shaft is determined such that, during installation, a transverse face of the bearing reaches an entrance of a cavity of the resolver stator before a transverse end of an external radial wall of the resolver rotor of the resolver reaches the entrance of the cavity.

Equipment and method for measuring the offset angle of a resolver in a synchronous electric machine

An electric machine includes a stator magnetic circuit and a rotor. The magnetic circuit includes electrical conductors, which form windings of the machine. Coils formed by the windings are connected to an external unit via connection conductors, which open into an end face of the magnetic circuit. A frame sleeve envelopes the magnetic circuit and, on an output side of the connection conductors, the sleeve is extended by a lateral wall of a lid, which is pierced with a lateral exit opening through which the connection conductors can exit towards an external connector. On assembly, the connection conductors exiting the stator can be directly inserted into the exit opening of the lid before the lid is fixed to the sleeve by passing into a space provided between an internal lateral wall of the lid and a flange element of the lid.

An electric machine includes a stator stack of laminations, pierced with a cylindrical passage for housing a rotatable rotor therein. The stator includes a magnetic circuit of laminations stacked between first and second terminal faces crossed by the passage and by a series of slots housing conductors, which are folded over to form coils. An electrically insulating reinforcing wedge piece is interposed between an internal wall of a first tubular end and a corresponding portion of a block of resin surrounding a region of winding heads of the conductors, which follow a looped path in the block of resin. A wedging unit wedges the insulating reinforcing piece in position to prevent the insulating reinforcing piece from protruding axially internally on the internal wall with respect to the region so as to leave a determined annular sector of the internal wall in direct adhering contact with the block of resin.

An electric machine with a resolver for a system for autocontrol of the machine includes a machine stator, a machine rotor mounted for rotation in the stator, the rotor being mounted on a shaft, and a casing enclosing this assembly. The resolver includes a fixed resolver stator centered axially in a housing inside the casing and a resolver rotor mounted on the shaft of the machine rotor inside the resolver stator. The resolver stator is locked in an axially and angularly fixed position in the housing. A mounting device is included for mounting the resolver. The mounting device includes a bearing for rotational adjustment of an angular position of the resolver rotor on the shaft of the machine rotor and a device for clamping the resolver rotor and the shaft with respect to one another in a chosen angular position. The device may include a friction race.
