The invention relates to an adjustable helmet comprising a first and second shell portion adjustably connected together. Each shell features a smooth interference-free sliding surface on which the two shells fit together in an overlapping relationship. The two shells are locked together by a manually operable locking device adapted to engage corresponding anchoring holes. The smooth interference-free sliding surfaces allows easy adjustment of the helmet size.

Adjustable helmets

A skate boot featuring an exterior toe protector and a method of manufacture. The skate boot is provided with a toe cover adapted to be pulled and stretched over a last allowing the skate boot to be formed in a similar fashion as a skate boot featuring an interior toe protector. The toe protector has a pair of lateral extensions which overlap the frontal edges of the lateral supporting portions of the skate boot and a pair of cutout areas to surround the same lateral supporting portions of the skate boot.

Method of manufacturing a skate boot

An article of footwear is provided that includes a sizing apparatus to allow the shoe size to be adjustable by the wearer. The article of footwear in the form of a shoe includes a sole, an upper extending from the sole, and a sizing apparatus located within the upper, in which a sizing member is attached to the upper at the rear end of the shoe. The sizing apparatus may include a composite inner core, a detachment feature, and a dual selective fastening system. The inner core may be substantially enclosed in a lining. The sizing apparatus enables a user to adjust the effective length of the shoe to at least three effective lengths. A method of adjusting the size of the article of footwear is provided to make the shoe at least three effective lengths.

Skate boot with toe protector

An adjustable protective helmet for sporting activities comprising a first and second shell component, each having respective cooperating overlapping segments extending transversely across the top portion of the wearer's head for connecting together to form a helmet shell assembly circumscribing the wearer's head. The shells are movable relative to one another in the overlapping segments to provide size adjustability of the helmet. The protective helmet includes a shock absorbing pad assembly inside comprising at least two padding sections, one padding section comprising an opening, the other padding section comprising an extension loosely fitting within the opening and shaped to allow relative longitudinal motion between the padding sections; the padding sections further comprising stopping means to limit the relative longitudinal motion between them.
