The invention relates to a method for determining the intrinsic viscosity [&#x3b7;] of an aqueous polymer solution at a temperature T, wherein the aqueous polymer solution comprises at least one acrylamide-based polymer in an aqueous solvent, the aqueous solvent having a salinity of from 6 to 250 g/L, the method comprising the steps of: &#x2014;providing a single universal relation Rbetween (i), the product of polymer concentration and intrinsic viscosity C&#xb7;[&#x3b7;], and (ii) specific viscosity at zero shear rate &#x3b7;; &#x2014;performing a measurement of the dynamic viscosity of the aqueous polymer solution at one polymer concentration C, at temperature T and at various shear rates; &#x2014;determining from said measurement the zero-shear viscosity &#x3b7;of the aqueous polymer solution at polymer concentration Cand at temperature T; &#x2014;calculating the specific viscosity at zero shear rate of the aqueous polymer solution at polymer concentration C and at temperature T as &#x3b7;=(&#x3b7;&#x2212;&#x3b7;)/&#x3b7;, where &#x3b7;is the zero-shear viscosity of the aqueous solvent; &#x2014;estimating the intrinsic viscosity [&#x3b7;] of the aqueous polymer solution at temperature T by applying the universal relation Rto the calculated specific viscosity at zero shear rate &#x3b7;and polymer concentration C.

Method for determining the viscosity of a polymer solution

The invention relates to the use of a non-ionic surfactant and an anionic surfactant for enhancing the injectivity of an injection well, wherein the non-ionic surfactant and the anionic surfactant are added to produced water, to form a reinjection stream which is injected into a subterranean formation by the injection well.

Surfactant composition for the reinjection of produced water

The invention relates to a surface treatment method for treating the inner walls of a microchannel made from a polymeric material that is at least partially photocured or thermoset. Said treatment is carried out via irradiation in the air at a wavelength of less than or equal to 300 nm. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a microfluidic device including such a surface treatment step.
