A gliding device includes a gliding board, a mechanism for binding a boot to the gliding board; the binding mechanism including a retaining device allowing rotation of the boot about an axis transverse to the gliding board; and an arrangement for applying a pulling force on the shovel of the gliding board. The arrangement for applying a pulling force on the shovel is not elastic; and the gliding device further includes a device for adjusting the length of the pulling arrangement.

Device and assembly for gliding

A ski including a structural unit, gliding structure, as well as a decorative and protective structure. The structural unit includes at least one lower reinforcement, at least one upper reinforcement, and an intermediate structure, or core, positioned between the upper reinforcement and the lower reinforcement. The ski has a longitudinally extending cambered shape such that, when the gliding structure is positioned on a flat surface, the ski rests on a shovel contact point and a tail contact point. The ski further includes a tension structure that exerts a tension force between a first anchoring, positioned longitudinally beyond the shovel contact zone, and a second anchoring, positioned on rearward of the shovel contact zone. The tension structure is positioned for most of its length beneath the decorative and protective structure, such tension structure being positioned for most of its length above the neutral axis of the ski, such as above the upper reinforcement. The tension structure further includes a tensioning device that makes it possible to position the second anchoring in at least two positions separated longitudinally from one another by a distance between 0.5 mm and 10.0 mm, or between 1.0 mm and 7.0 mm. The tension structure includes a metal blade. The decorative and protective structure can include a window across which the blade can project. A filler can be positioned between the decorative and protective structure and the upper reinforcement, and a tunnel is arranged in the filler in order to receive the blade.

A gliding board having a front end and a rear end, the front end and the rear end being spaced from one another along a longitudinal axis, the board being made by superimposing the following elements: a gliding sole; at least one lower reinforcement; at least one upper reinforcement; an intermediate structure, positioned between at least one lower reinforcement and the at least one upper reinforcement; wherein, at least on of the ends of the gliding board, at least one lower reinforcement and/or the at least one upper reinforcement respectively include/each include a longitudinal slit so that in a zone of at least one of the ends there is a reduced reinforcement thickness above and/or below the intermediate structure.

A pair of gliding boards adapted to be used together by a user, with no connection to one another, for gliding in a gliding direction, the pair of boards including a first board which has an elongated shape extending along a first longitudinal axis and a first arrangement to fasten the user's left foot to the first board along a first fastening axis, the pair of boards also including a second board which has an elongated shape extending along a second longitudinal axis and a second arrangement to fasten the user's right foot to the second board along a second fastening axis. The first fastening axis forms a first angle &#x3b2;with the first longitudinal axis, the second fastening axis forms a second angle &#x3b2;with the second longitudinal axis, the angle &#x3b2;and angle &#x3b2;being oriented in the same direction, and at least one of the angles &#x3b2;and &#x3b2;being non-zero.

Gliding apparatus

A ski having a sole equipped with discontinuous serrations including a central flat gliding zone and on one side, at least, a lateral curved gliding zone bordering the central zone. The surface of the rear portion at least, of the central zone between the rear contact line and the center line of the boot of the ski is equipped with a pronounced structuring such that the measured values of the significant roughness parameters Rtm and Rku are greater than the values measured on the surface of the lateral curved gliding zone. The invention is more specifically related to an alpine ski whose ability to pivot and to glide are thus improved.

A ski having a sole equipped with discontinuous serrations comprising a smooth or lightly structured front portion and a strongly structured rear portion. The rear portion extends towards the rear in the direction of rear contact line from a transverse line located between the boot center line and a transverse line located at a distance (d) from the boot center line, equal to 0.4 times the distance (D) separating the line from forward contact line. The invention is more specifically related to an alpine ski whose ability to glide is thus improved.
