A method, apparatus and program product are provided for generating an allocation table in a computerized procurement system. The method comprises receiving first data from a purchase order regarding a plurality of articles to be allocated, and receiving second data from an assortment regarding the plurality of articles and a plurality of stores identified for receiving the articles at specified times. The method further comprises determining a fixed quantity of each article to be allocated to each store based on at least one of the first and second data, wherein the fixed quantity of each article is the same for all stores. The method also comprises determining a variable quantity of each article to be allocated to each store, wherein the variable quantity of each article is individually set for each store, and wherein the variable quantity of each article is determined based on analysis of historical data.

Allocation table generation from assortment planning

A system and method for synchronizing an allocation table with a purchase order in a computerized system. The method comprises generating a purchase order having purchase order data, and using the purchase order data in the purchase order to generate an allocation table having allocation table data. The method further comprises detecting a change in at least one of the purchase order data and the allocation table data, and automatically updating the other of the purchase data and the allocation table data to reflect the change.

Synchronizing an allocation table with a procurement system

A method, apparatus and program product are provided for displaying planned quantities of articles in a computerized allocation system. The method comprises displaying an allocation table having a listing of articles along one dimension and data regarding the articles along another dimension. The data regarding each article includes a total quantity of the article for all stores receiving the article. The method further includes receiving a command to switch to a distribution matrix view of the listing of articles displayed in the allocation table, and displaying the distribution matrix view including a listing of stores along one dimension and data regarding the stores along another dimension. The data regarding each store includes a quantity of each article for the store.

Distribution matrix in an allocation table

A method of integrating planning, purchasing, and allocation of goods in a computerized system is disclosed. The method includes providing a purchase order workbench for generating a purchase order list based on received purchasing data. The purchase order list includes a plurality of items and associated purchasing data for each item. The method further includes providing a planning workbench for applying one or more budget rules to the plurality of items in the purchase order list to determine whether the purchase of the items in the purchase order list should be approved based on the application of the one or more budget rules, providing an allocation workbench for generating an allocation table. The allocation table includes at least one of the plurality of items from the purchase order list that has been approved for purchase and a designation of a sales location for each item. The method yet further includes providing a system interface configured to access the purchase order, planning, and allocation workbenches.

System and method for planning, allocation, and purchasing

A method, apparatus and program product are provided for generating an allocation table in a computerized procurement system. The method comprises creating an allocation table listing a plurality of articles to be allocated and a plurality of stores to receive the articles, and determining an allocation quantity of each article for each store based on a fixed quantity of the article and a variable quantity of the article. The fixed quantity of the article is the same for each store, and the variable quantity of the article is individually computed for each store. The method further comprises computing the variable quantity of the article for each store by applying predefined rules to historical data.
