Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to transmission of control information associated with sidelink positioning reference signal. In an example method, a first terminal device in a radio access network comprises at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the first terminal device to: transmit, to a second terminal device in the radio access network, control information associated with a sidelink (SL) positioning reference signal (PRS) during a SL positioning session for positioning of the second terminal device, using a resource for the control information in a Physical Sidelink Feedback Channel (PSFCH) symbol or in at least one symbol dedicated for the control information. In this way, the first terminal device can efficiently transmit control information to the second terminal device with backward compatibility.

The method includes: determining, by a first sidelink communication module, a selection window; setting at least one first threshold parameter for a resource exclusion at the first sidelink communication module; initializing a candidate resource set; receiving, from a second sidelink communication module, at least one of: at least one second threshold parameter used for a resource exclusion at the second sidelink communication module, sidelink sensing information obtained by the second sidelink communication module, or resource reservation information collected by the second sidelink communication module; determining one or more final candidate resources in the first sidelink communication using the at least one first threshold parameter and the at least one information received from the second sidelink communication module; and reporting the determined one or more final candidate resources to a higher layer.

An apparatus, method and computer program is described comprising: sending a request from a transmitting user device to a second user device for communication resource recommendations based on a resource setting, wherein the communication resource recommendations include preferred and/or non-preferred communications resources for sidelink transmissions from the transmitting user device to a receiving user device. Resource collision avoidance in sidelink for discontinuous reception (DRX)

Disclosed is a method for efficient signaling of sidelink radio resources. A first terminal device selects a subset of radio resources from a set of candidate radio resources. The first terminal device determines a set of resource indices for the subset of radio resources based at least partly on a pre-defined enumeration order of the set of candidate radio resources in time and frequency. The first terminal device determines a first resource indication value indicating at least the set of resource indices. The first terminal device transmits the first resource indication value to one or more second terminal devices.

The method may also include monitoring a page at the common paging occasion based on the information element.
