The present invention relates to a method of providing an individualized footwear for a user, operated in a computerized calculation system, the method comprising: obtaining one or more input data relating to the user, allocating the one or more input data to a plurality of attributes relevant to an individualized footwear, each of the attributes being associated with the one or more input data, calculating a parameter for each of the attributes using the one or more input data associated thereto, and providing individualized construction data for manufacture of the individualized footwear based on the calculated parameters of the attributes.

Method and system to provide an individualized footwear

The invention relates to a shoe, in particular a sprint shoe, including a plate arranged in a sole area of the shoe. The plate extends essentially over the complete length of the sole area and is substantially planar in a forefoot part and is constructed of a material and configured to allow for elastic bending of the plate in the longitudinal direction, and is configured to three-dimensionally encompasses a rearfoot part of the foot. Optionally, the plate includes a heel cup in the rearfoot part to cradle the foot. Further, a wedge- or rib-like raised part may be arranged below the heel cup.

The invention relates to a sliding element for a shoe sole. The sliding element includes an upper sliding surface and a lower sliding surface, wherein the lower sliding surface is arranged below the upper sliding surface so as to be slideable in at least two directions. The upper sliding surface can form a lower side of an upper sliding plate and the lower sliding surface can form an upper side of a lower sliding plate. A relative sliding movement between the upper sliding surface and the lower sliding surface distributes the deceleration of the shoe sole over a greater time period and allows the foot to feel as if it is wearing a conventional shoe that contacts a surface with reduced friction, for example, a soft forest ground.
