A cutting knife for a cutting tool for cutting through adhesive beads on glass panes of vehicles is disclosed having a cross section that is bent into a U-shape and comprises a first limb, configured as an attachment part, with a receiving opening for attachment to an oscillating drive, and a second limb that is configured as a cutting part and is joined via an intermediate part to the attachment part of the cutting knife. The intermediate part and the cutting part being shaped such that a distance exists in a radial direction between a center point of the receiving opening and at least one cutting edge. The cutting part has, in a middle region between its outer free end and its angled transition to the intermediate part, a width that is greater than the width at the transition.

The invention describes a cutting knife for a cutting tool for cutting through adhesive beads on glass panes of vehicles, having a cross section that is bent into a U-shape and comprises a first limb, configured as the attachment part, with a receiving opening for attachment to an oscillating drive, and a second limb that is configured as the cutting part and is joined via an intermediate part to the attachment part of the cutting knife, the intermediate part and the cutting part being shaped such that a distance exists in the radial direction between the center point of the receiving opening and at least one cutting edge. The cutting part has, in a middle region between its outer free end and its angled transition to the intermediate part, a lesser width than at the transition and at the outer end. This results in a reduced susceptibility to breakage.

A cutting knife and a method for production are provided, the knife being suitable for severing tough, elastic material, in particular cement beads of window panes cemented in motor vehicles. The knife comprises a securement portion having a securement receptacle for securing the cutting knife to an oscillatory drive of a cutting tool, and a cutting portion with at least one cutting edge. The cutting knife comprises a plurality of flat bonded layers, which are preferably bonded together by forging. Additionally or alternatively, an outer wear resistant layer is applied, preferably by thermal spraying. The cutting knife has an improved elasticity and increased bending strength in combination with improved cutting properties.

Cutting knife for severing tough elastic materials and production method therefor

A power sander comprising an oscillating drive for oscillatingly driving a sanding tool about an axis fixed with respect to a housing is disclosed. The sanding tool comprises a sanding plate arranged on the sanding tool and having at least two side edges which converge in at least one corner and are arranged symmetrically with respect to a center point. A receptacle for mounting the sanding plate on the drive shaft is arranged on the sanding plate eccentrically with respect to the center point.
