The present invention relates to a wire or cable comprising a conductor coated with an insulation composition, wherein said insulation composition comprises: i) a polyethylene copolymer having a melting point of 105&#xb0; C. or less; and ii) a hindered amine light stabiliser (HALS) comprising at least one 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-piperidinyl group present in an amount of 0.5 to 1.5 wt %.

The invention relates to a polyethylene having a melt flow rate at (2.16) kg loading (MFR), determined according to method ISO1133-1:2011, which MFRis A g/10 min and A&#x2264;A&#x2264;A; wherein Ais (0.5) and Ais (1.70), and containing a total amount of vinyl groups which is B vinyl groups per (1000) carbon atoms, and B&#x2264;B, wherein Bis (0.45), determined according to method ASTM D6248-98, a polymer composition, an article being e.g. a cable, e.g. a power cable, and processes for producing a polyethylene, a polymer composition and an article, and an article; useful in different end applications, such as wire and cable (W&C) applications.

The present invention relates to a flame retardant polypropylene composition for a conduit, appliance, and/or automotive wire, comprising a flame retardant composition comprising: a) a base resin comprising a heterophasic propylene copolymer which comprises a polypropylene homo- or copolymer matrix and an ethylene propylene rubber dispersed in said matrix, and b) a metal hydroxide or hydrated compound, wherein the heterophasic propylene copolymer has a MFRbelow 0.8 g/10 min and a xylene cold soluble (XCS) fraction content between 1 and 15 wt % based on the total weight of the heterophasic propylene copolymer.

Flame retardant polypropylene composition

The present invention relates to a crosslinkable high pressure polyethylene composition containing ethylene silane copolymer resin having a content of silane of about 0.1 to 10 weight % and at least one silanol condensation catalyst. The invention further relates to a process for the preparation thereof, to a pipe made of said composition and to the use of the composition as an insulation for a cable.
