A motor-driven stair climbing device ( ) to carry equipment and goods, more particularly wheel chairs ( ) with disabled persons. The wheel chair ( ) can be detachably fixed to the stair climber ( ) and essentially comprises a stable frame ( ) with an energy source ( ), a drive shaft ( ), a drive control, feelers ( ), sensors ( ) and a lifting mechanism to climb the steps. The stair climbing device is characterized in that a support device ( ) is provided, which is supported on the following step of the stairs ( ) and in that the entire center of gravity ( ) of the stair climber ( ), the wheeler chair ( ) and the disabled person is located between the support points of the running wheel ( ) or the support device ( ) on the steps of the stairs ( ).

Motor-driven stair climbing device

A safety device for stairway elevator systems ( ) used for transporting apparatus and goods, especially wheelchairs ( ) with persons who are unable to walk. The device is characterized in that the stairway elevator ( ) or wheelchair ( ) is fitted with a mounting device ( ) equipped with a rotation pin ( ). A support bracket ( ) is mounted on the rotation pin ( ) and a braking and blocking device ( ) is attached to both the support bracket ( ) and mounting device ( ). A sensor ( ) controls the braking and blocking device ( ) in such a way that it blocks the support bracket ( ) as soon as the stairway elevator ( ) is at risk of tipping over and down the stairs ( ) and releases the support bracket ( ) when the stairway elevator ( ) is placed at a correct angle to the stairs( ).

Safety device for stair-climbing systems

A display unit for merchandise which is stored standing inside the unit strapped between a base tray and a lid tray, capable of being stored, transported and offered for sale via the topside, comprised of paperboard but, folded and glued in such a fashion as to form a block-shaped case. The case has a smooth lower section in which the merchandise can be stored with little lateral play between the side walls and the base tray. The side edges each display two v-shaped notches so that in a first section the side walls can be folded inwards and in a second section above said first section the side walls can be folded outwards approximately horizontally and a top section with vertical sides leading on from the second section. Plastic holders with fingers pointing inwards and a protective surface pointing downwards are slotted through an aperture near the folding line between the second section and the top section. In the first section where the fold slopes inwards, there are two lugs cut, respectively, below the protective surface. A rubber band is hooked into each of these lugs, led behind the protective surface and up along the outside surface of the top section where it is hooked onto a retaining tongue of the plastic holder. The lower edge of the lid terminates on a level with the inward fold of the first section.
