A method of producing a divided conduit containing, in order forming a strip-shaped textile having a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge, extruding a molten thermoplastic polymer into the form of an at least partially molten conduit having an inner surface and an outer surface, and placing at least one strip-shaped substrate within the at least partially molten conduit during or directly after conduit formation such that the first longitudinal and second longitudinal edges of the strip-shaped substrate embed into the inner surface of the conduit. The strip-shaped textile is selected from the group consisting of a woven, non-woven, and knit and the strip-shaped textile is air permeable. The inner surface and outer surface of the conduit is continuous.

Process for forming a divided conduit

A divided conduit containing a thermoplastic conduit and at least one strip-shaped film having a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge which are embedded into the inner surface of the conduit forming at least two flexible, longitudinal channels for enveloping cables or other elongated structures.

Divided conduit

A method of producing a divided conduit comprising forming a strip-shaped substrate having a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge. The strip-shaped substrate is a strip-shaped textile or a strip-shaped film. Then extruding a molten thermoplastic into the form of a conduit and placing the one strip-shaped substrate within the extruded conduit during or directly after conduit formation. The first longitudinal edge and the second longitudinal edge of the strip-shaped substrate adhere to or embed into the inner surface of the conduit.

Provided herein is a liquid-filled, non-reclosable tetrahedral or pillow-shaped packaging container having a longitudinal fin seal and a pair of transverse seals. In the case of tetrahedral packages, the transverse seals are perpendicular to one another. Also provided herein is an apparatus for the formation of such fin seals as part of a continuous packaging and filling operation. A third aspect of the apparatus of the present disclosure is the development of a heated jaw that exhibits consistent heating across the jaw face. Yet another feature of the apparatus of the present disclosure is provided in a modified, closed-loop electrical system for real-time monitoring and adjustment of the temperatures of the heated jaws, as they are moving.

The fabric is calendered to reduce the thickness of the elastomeric yarns along the minor axis at the cross-over of the warp yarns in the leno weave.

Low abrasion elastomeric fabric

The present invention relates to a mechanical device that is used to attach polyester elastomeric fabric hoops to a furniture frame in an efficient and production-worthy manner. These elastomeric hoops are used as the back and seat portions of chairs, double occupant seats, and the like. The invention works by overstretching part of an elastomeric fabric hoop and inserting a furniture frame into the overstretched hoop portion. The fabric hoop is then allowed to reduce its size until it is tight around the frame, thereby eliminating the need for additional attachment means. The device is operated by two air-over-oil pneumatic cylinders, two pneumatic cylinders, and a series of electrical read switches. The device requires only compressed air and 110 volts of alternating electrical current to operate.

This invention relates to a method and apparatus for liquid deflection for liquid spray generators utilized in impressing marking materials (e.g., dyes, inks, paints, coatings) onto substrates (e.g., fabric) and, more particularly, to a mechanism for producing a plurality of aligned streams of atomized droplets to produce a pattern on a substrate. A constant air supply is utilized with a liquid marking material line which is low enough to prevent diverting of the stable liquid stream but high enough to keep the air orifice free of liquid. Shields are also utilized to prevent the liquid mist accumulation from accidently getting on the substrate to be treated.

Method and apparatus for liquid deflection

An improved apparatus is disclosed for spraying a liquid marking material onto the surface of a substrate by dividing a stream of the marking material into droplets by an impinging stream of pressurized control fluid directed at the surface to be sprayed. The apparatus comprises a module forming a plurality of first conduits for delivery of the stream of marking material and a plurality of second conduits for delivery of the impinging stream of control fluid. In one embodiment, the module comprises a module body having a plurality of first grooves and a plurality of second grooves and means for enclosing such grooves to form the first and second conduits, respectively. Methods of producing substrates having a sprayed pattern are also disclosed which employ such apparatus.
