Provided are systems and methods which generate and display a relationship diagram that visually depicts relationships between items in an order including both non-service components (e.g., products, materials, software applications, drivers, etc.) and service components for servicing one or more of the non-service components. In one example, the method may include receiving a request from a user interface, querying a data store for dependency data of a plurality of components included an order based on an order identifier included in the received request, generating a visualization based on the dependency data of the plurality of components, wherein the visualization comprises a plurality of graphical elements representing the plurality of components, and directional edges between the plurality of graphical elements representing dependencies among the plurality of components, and rendering the diagram via the user interface.

A context control interface may include a context name field that is arranged and configured to identify a working context, one or more attribute name fields that are configured to identify one or more attributes that define the working context and one or more attribute value fields that are arranged and configured to correspond to the attribute name fields and to define one or more values for the attribute name fields. The attribute name fields and the corresponding attribute value fields may be mapped to a first set of fields in a first application and may be mapped to second set of fields in a second application and the attributes and the values populate the first set of fields and the second set of fields such that the working context is persistent across the first application and the second application, where the first application differs from the second application.

A computer program product for defining a configuration model for a configurable product includes instructions operable to cause a programmable processor to receive a first input, and define, based on the first input, a first version of a first subcomponent to be used in the configuration model, the first version including information that describes the configurable product. The computer program product includes instructions to receive a second input, and define, based on the second input, a second version of the first subcomponent to be used in the configuration model, the second version including information that describes the configurable product. The computer program product designates one of the first or second versions to be an active version, and designates the other to be an inactive version. The computer program product also includes instructions to define a first component based at least in part on the active version.

The product includes instructions to define, based on the input, a base component of the configuration model, the base component including information that describes the product. The product includes instructions to include, as a child object of the base component, a reused subcomponent that was previously defined, the reused subcomponent including information that describes the product.
