There is provided a food processing apparatus () for use with a near-infrared light source and a sensor. The apparatus comprises a food processing chamber () configured to receive a food stuff, a food processing unit () configured to process the food stuff in the food processing chamber, and an optical component () configured to reflect emitted near-infrared light from the near-infrared light source towards the sensor, wherein the optical component is arranged at the food processing unit or a channel formed in the food processing chamber.

Food processing apparatus

A blade set assembly for a hair cutting appliance includes a stationary blade and a movable blade. The movable and stationary blades are arranged one on top the other and movable relative to each other. A guide unit is formed between the movable blade and the stationary blade, where the blades engage each other. The guide unit includes longitudinally spaced, laterally extending guideways, each defined between a stationary blade guide surface and a movable blade guide surface that overlap each other. Rolling elements are arranged at the guideways between the guide surfaces. The guide surfaces have a height extension greater than a radius of the rolling elements such that the guide surfaces overlap in a vertical direction. The guide surfaces provide for coupling in a longitudinal direction between the blades such that the guide unit provides for a set longitudinal distance for any force applied in the longitudinal direction.

The present invention relates to a food steamer. The food steamer comprises a food preparation chamber (), a steam generator () communicating with the food preparation chamber () so that steam is able to flow from the steam generator () to the food preparation chamber (), and a contaminant prevention means () configured to prevent the ingress of contaminants from the food preparation chamber () into the steam generator (). The present invention also relates to an apparatus for preventing the ingress of contaminants from a food preparation chamber () into a steam generator () of a food steamer.

To provide a hair cutting device permitting the user to really know the remaining hair length without having to do trial cuts, a hair cutting device () with hair length indicator means () is proposed, wherein the hair length indicator means () comprises a fixed delimiter () and at least one movable delimiter () being movable with respect to the fixed delimiter (), such that the hair length is indicated by the distance (D) between the fixed () and the at least one movable delimiter (). Preferably, the hair length indicator means () comprises more than one movable delimiter (), all movable delimiters () being movable in circumferential direction and functionally couplable with a comb unit () such that a change between movable delimiters () is caused by attachment of the comb unit () to the hair cutting device ().
