Wing for an aircraft

A wing for an aircraft, a method of connecting a high lift assembly to the wing, and an aircraft including such a wing. The wing includes a main wing, a bracket and a high lift assembly. The high lift assembly includes a high lift body including a connection assembly movably connecting the high lift body to the main wing. The bracket includes a plurality of bracket connection points. The high lift assembly includes a plurality of high lift connection points, each high lift connection point corresponding to a bracket connection point and being connected thereto by a connector. The bracket includes first and second flanges. The bracket connection points are located on the first and second flanges. The first and second flanges each include respective first and second landing surfaces configured to abut a connection assembly surface, the first landing surface being oriented perpendicular to the second landing surface.

Wing for an aircraft and high lift assembly connection method

An aircraft system includes a support structure, an aerodynamic component, a first coupling unit and a second coupling unit. The first coupling unit includes a first coupling mechanism movably coupling the aerodynamic component to a first coupling point at the support structure, and a second coupling mechanism coupling the aerodynamic component to a second coupling point at the support structure. The first and second coupling points are spatially separated from each other, wherein the first coupling mechanism and the second coupling mechanism interact with each other to enable a rotational movement of the aerodynamic component with respect to the support structure such that, during the rotational movement of the aerodynamic component, a center of rotation of the aerodynamic component is translated from a neutral position to an adjusted position. The second coupling unit pivotably moves the aerodynamic component about a pivot axis at the support structure.

Aircraft system

A sealing strip for sealing a gap between convexly curved aerodynamic surface elements of an aircraft. The sealing strip has a convexly curved outer side, welting sections at both longitudinal edges of the sealing strip for fixing the sealing strip at the aerodynamic surface elements, and a mid-seal section between the welting sections. The welting sections protrude on an inner side from the mid-seal section. The sealing strip has a first, second, and third length regions, the second length region being located longitudinally between the first and third length region. The welting sections are omitted in the second length region or the welting sections in the second length region are less rigid than the welting sections in the first and third length regions. A trailing edge system for a wing of an aircraft comprises a flap device arrangement configured for being mounted at a trailing edge of an aircraft wing, wherein at least two movable flap devices of the flap device arrangement are spaced apart from each other. A torque element is connecting the movable flap devices for transmitting a torque to the movable flap devices in order to actuate a rotational movement of the movable flap devices. An actuator for rotationally driving the torque element is provided. Also a method of operating control surfaces of an aircraft wing and an aircraft and aircraft wing with such a system.

A wing having a main wing and a high lift assembly with a body and a connection. The connection movably connects the body to the main wing, such that the body is movable between a retracted position and at least one extended position. The connection comprises a track extending along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end and an intermediate portion between the ends. The first end and/or the intermediate portion is mounted to body, and the second end and/or the intermediate portion is mounted to the main wing by a roller bearing such that the track is movable along the longitudinal axis. The roller bearing has a roller unit mounted to the main wing and engaging a surface provided at the track so that the roller unit can adapt its tilt position with respect to the surface.

A sealing device for covering an aperture in a wing part of an aircraft. The sealing device has a cover plate covering at least a part of the aperture and having an outer surface delimited by a cover plate edge, and at least one holding device coupled with the cover plate. The at least one holding device having a resilient element, the at least one holding device resiliently holds the cover plate in a distance to an actuation element. The distance is variable in a first direction substantially perpendicular to the outer surface. The at least one holding device holds the cover plate in a substantially fixed spatial alignment in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The resilient element urges the cover plate towards the actuation element in a mounted state of the sealing device.

A wing for an aircraft is disclosed including a main wing and a trailing edge high lift assembly having a flap, and a connection assembly movably connecting the flap to the main wing, such that the flap is movable between a retracted position and at least one extended position, wherein the connection assembly includes a support element that is mounted to the flap and that is movably mounted to the main wing, such that the support element is movable relative to the main wing along a predefined path between a stowed position and a deployed position. The support element is formed as an elongate support beam that extends along a beam longitudinal axis between a front end and a rear end and has an intermediate portion between the front and rear ends.

A wing assembly is disclosed having a fixed wing portion, a high-lift device, and a connecting assembly movably connecting the high-lift device to the fixed wing portion, such that the high-lift device is movable between a retracted position and at least one extended position. The connecting assembly includes a first connecting element, which extends from a first end portion, at which the first connecting element is rotatably connected to the fixed wing portion, to a second end portion, and a second connecting element, which extends from a first end portion, at which the second connecting element is rotatably connected to the second end portion of the first connecting element, to a second end portion.

The trailing edge part comprises a first part portion and a second part portion arranged next to each other in a span direction and configured to pivot about the pivot axis individually, the damper device comprises a damping element coupled between the first part portion and the second part portion to damp relative movement of the first part portion and the second part portion.

A heated leading-edge structure for an aircraft includes a leading-edge panel having an outer surface configured to be contacted by an ambient flow, and an inner surface opposite the outer surface, a rear panel arranged at least partially arranged at a distance to the inner surface, a closed chamber inside the leading-edge structure, a heating device attached inside the chamber, and an air conveying device in fluid communication with the heating device. The air conveying device is configured to convey air from inside the chamber through the heating device to be heated and returned to the chamber, such that a circulating flow of heated air is created inside the chamber.

A flap system for an aircraft comprises a wing structure, a trailing-edge and an attachment unit for movably coupling the trailing-edge movable to the wing structure. The attachment unit comprises an attachment mechanism and a cover element which at least partly encloses the attachment mechanism. The attachment unit comprises a drive element which is configured to move the cover element along an aerodynamic outer surface of a skin section of the wing structure between a first position and a second position, wherein the movement of the cover element along the aerodynamic outer surface is defined by a translational movement of the cover element relative to the skin section.

An aircraft wing including a flap system mounted at a leading or trailing edge of the wing and includes at least two movable flap devices spaced apart in a spanwise direction Y from each other, each movable flap device supported by at least one support station and driven about a hinge axis by at least one drive system.
