A ski or a snowboard is in the form of a board-type gliding device. By reference to the width of the gliding device, at least one recess is provided in its middle portion extending in its depth direction from the top face of the gliding device in the direction towards the running surface facing and disposed in its longitudinal direction essentially parallel with the longitudinal direction of the gliding device with a view to causing a cross-sectional weakening. At least one manually adjustable adjusting device is provided, which is designed to produce an individually adjustable change in the load-dependent deformability of the cross-sectional shape or to produce an individually adjustable limit to the maximum permissible load-dependent cross-sectional deformation of the gliding device. Further, a ski or a snowboard is provided with a manually adjustable adjusting device which is designed to act as a spreading device for producing an individually adjustable increase in the width of the recess on the one hand and to act as a pulling device to produce an individually adjustable decrease in the width of the recess on the other hand.

Ski or snowboard with means for influencing its cross-sectional shape

A multi-functional board-type gliding device, which has two end portions spaced at a distance apart from another in the direction of a longitudinal axis and is designed to be split in its longitudinal extension to form gliding part-devices . Several first and second coupling mechanisms are disposed in the direction of longitudinal extension in order to provide a mutual connection between the two gliding part-devices. The two mutually coupled gliding part-devices constitute a first operating mode and in the position separated from one another constitute a second operating mode. In the first operating mode in the coupled position, the two gliding part-devices form a first end portion which defines a first direction of use. In the second operating mode in the position separated from one another, the or the other end portions define a second direction of use opposite the first direction of use.

Multi-functional gliding device

The invention describes a ski () or a snowboard in the form of a board-type gliding device (). By reference to the width () of the gliding board body, at least one slot () is provided in its middle portion extending in the depth direction&#x2014;arrow ()&#x2014;from the top face () of the gliding board body in the direction towards the running surface facing () and in its longitudinal direction essentially parallel with the longitudinal direction of the gliding board body. This at least one slot () is provided with a view to causing a cross-sectional weakening and reducing the stiffness of the gliding board body transversely to its longitudinal direction. Also provided is at least one geometry-influencing means (), by means of which the cross-sectional shape or contour of the gliding board body is variable as a function of load and/or can be manually varied. The geometry-influencing means () comprises a plate-type force-transmitting element (), which extends across more than 50% of the length of the gliding board body and is supported within its longitudinal extension, at least in part-portions, on the top face () of the gliding board body so as to transmit load, and the plate-type force-transmitting element () is disposed so that it overlaps the least one slot () in the longitudinal direction and bridges it transversely to the longitudinal direction of the slot ().

Ski or snowboard with a means for influencing its geometry

The invention relates to a ski () or a snowboard in the form of a board-type gliding device (), comprising a multi-layered gliding board body. A force-transmitting element () is supported on the top face () of the gliding board body, the top face of which is provided as a means of supporting a binding mechanism () for a connection to a sports shoe which can be released as and when necessary. The force-transmitting element () is of a plate-type design and extends across more than 50% of the length of the gliding board body. Within its longitudinal extension, the plate-type force-transmitting element () is supported in at least part-portions on the top face () of the gliding board body so as to transmit load and is connected to the gliding board body by means of a plurality of connecting zones () disposed in the longitudinal direction of the plate-type force-transmitting element ().

A ski or a snowboard in the form of a board-type gliding device has by reference to the board body width, at least one slot in its middle portion extending in the depth direction from the board body top face towards the running surface facing and in its longitudinal direction essentially parallel with the board body longitudinal direction to cause a cross-sectional weakening and reduce the stiffness of the board body transversely to its longitudinal direction. At least one geometry-influencing device produces a cross-sectional board body shape or contour which is variable manually or as a function of load. The slot is then faced with a bridging element which is elastically stretchable or expandable, at least transversely to the longitudinal extension of the slot to prevent snow from being transferred or getting inside the slot from the running surface facing towards the top face of the gliding board body.

Ski or snowboard with a means for influencing its geometry and a method of producing it

The invention relates to a method for producing a board-like gliding device (), in connection with which strength-related and decorative layers () are joined together to form a one-piece composite body () in a hot compression molding cycle by means of a heated-platen compression molding device (), whereby a cover layer () and/or a coating () of the gliding surface are selected from at least partly transparent plastic material, and the side () of the cover layer () and/or coating () of the gliding surface facing the core () of the composite body (), is joined by means of a transparent adhesive layer () with a background layer () forming the visual background of the cover layer () and/or coating () of the gliding surface. Before the thin, variably shaped background layer () is introduced in the molding process, a layer () structured by recesses () and/or elevations () is secured on the side () of the background layer () to be facing the core (), whereby by application of pressure and heat in the course of the process in which the layers () are joined, the surface structure () of the structured layer () is at least partly permanently transferred to the variably shaped background layer (). Furthermore, the invention relates to a board-like gliding device () produced accordingly.

Method for producing a board-like gliding device, and a board-like gliding device

The invention describes a pivotable binding system () for mounting between a sports device () and a tread surface () for a user's foot, in which the tread surface () is pivotable about an axis extending more or less parallel with the ankle joint of the foot and is displaceable, at least in a part region assigned to the toes, to a position closer to the sports device (), and can be joined to the sports device by at least one binding element (). The binding element () is flexible and is resiliently deformable in a vertical plane ().

In a ski, jumping ski or snowboard comprising a running surface lining, a top layer and several layers disposed between the running surface lining and the top layer, the running surface lining and the top layer having an external face facing away from the core, at least one of the external faces has an at least partially structured surface with a plurality of recesses. The recesses have a depth smaller than the thickness of the running surface lining and the top layer, and an annular rounded transition region surrounds the recesses, the rounded transition region having an arcuate contour which is convex relative to the external face.

The invention relates to a board-type runner device (), in particular a ski () or a snowboard, comprising several layers disposed between a running surface facing () and a top layer () and a core component (). The invention relates to a board-type runner device (), in particular a ski () or a snowboard, comprising several layers disposed between a running surface lining () and a top layer (), with a top belt () lying closest to the top layer () and/or a bottom belt () lying closest to the running surface lining () of a highly tensile material. In conjunction with a core disposed between the layers, these layers form a multi-layered element and at least one profiled section () is provided in the core. At least a part-region of the outer surface of the profiled section () is embedded or inlaid in a layer () of an elastic synthetic material, preferably a layer () of expanded synthetic material above the profiled section () that is flexible and elastically resilient under the action of forces.
