A safety load hook with a lower part defining a curved hook mouth with a hook opening of a predefined nominal width. An upper part is attached to the lower part and is pivotable into an open position for insertion or removal of a load, and into a closed position blocking insertion of a load or removal of a load. A marking is on each of the end regions of the upper part and lower part which face one another in the closed state. When closed, and when a size of the hook opening corresponds to the nominal width, the lower part marking is offset from the upper part marking. The offset distance is chosen such that when there is a predefined maximum widening of the hook mouth in relation to the predefined nominal width thereof, both markings are located directly side by side in the closed state.

Safety load hook

A safety load hook with a lower part having a hook throat to which a pivotable upper part is fastened, which, in an open position, allows a load to be suspended on the hook throat and, in a closed position, blocks the hook throat. The upper part is blockable in the closed position by a locking arrangement which includes a locking lever that is pivotable into a release position and a locked position, is pre-tensionable into the locked position by a tensioning spring, is fastened to the lower part with the tensioning spring via the support bolt and, in the locked position, engages in a receiver on the upper part by way of a shaped projection. The locking lever includes a lever on its side opposite the shaped projection, with a center of mass on the lateral surface of the receiving bore for the support bolt.

A shortening hook with a coupling connection for shortening sling chains in hangers, having a hook body which comprises an eyelet at the top for coupling to a suspension ring and at the bottom a coupling connection with a coupling slot which is delimited by two parallel side wings and is downwardly open for the suspension of a chain and in its central region comprises a hooking-in region, which realizes an upwardly open, rectilinearly extending shortening slot and on which a chain, which is coupled to the coupling connection, is hookable by way of its free end region. In each case, only a coupling slot and a shortening slot are realized on the hook body and, when the shortening hook is seen in side view, are mounted offset laterally with respect to one another.

A suspension ring for multistrand lifting tackle comprises two parallel rectilinear legs connected to one another at their ends by arcuate connecting legs. A lower connecting leg is along a longitudinal center line of the ring, extending as a circular segment in the central region of its extent and in the two regions in which it merges into each of the two legs. The radii of the rounded portions on the inside of the ring are less than half the internal width of the ring but greater than half the diameter of the legs, and the central region in the form of a circular segment is connected at its ends to the transitional region as a circular segment to the adjacent leg via a rectilinear intermediate segment of the connecting leg. An angle of the intermediate segment ranges from 50&#xb0; to 75&#xb0; to the longitudinal center line of the ring.
