An actuator includes a housing, an extension arm, and a threaded spindle. The threaded spindle is mounted on the housing in such a way as to be rotatable with respect to an axis of rotation by a first rotary bearing. The extension arm projects out of the housing in such a way that it can be moved in a direction of the axis of rotation. The housing and the extension arm together delimit an internal space, the volume of which changes when the extension arm moves. A first end of the threaded spindle that is remote from the first rotary bearing, projects into a tubular section of the extension arm, irrespective of a position in which the extension arm is situated. The tubular section extends with a constant internal cross-sectional shape along the axis of rotation.

A linear motion device includes a housing, an extension arm, and an anti-twist safeguard. The extension arm projects from the housing and includes a securing section. The anti-twist safeguard includes at least one separate elongate anti-friction lining, which is formed with a constant cross-sectional shape. The anti-friction lining is arranged substantially without play between the housing and the securing section of the extension arm and extends transversely to a longitudinal axis. The extension arm is supported on the housing in such a way that it can move along the longitudinal axis. In the securing section, the extension arm extends parallel to the longitudinal axis with a constant external cross-sectional shape deviating from a circular shape. The anti-twist safeguard engages positively in said external cross-sectional shape, thus securing the extension arm with respect to the housing against twisting relative to the longitudinal axis.

A linear motion device has a first assembly and a second assembly, at least one first rolling surface that extends in a longitudinal direction and provided on the first assembly, the first rolling surface being located opposite a second rolling surface which is provided on the second assembly, a row of rolling elements that circulate endlessly in the first assembly is located between the first and second rolling surfaces, and at least one central longitudinal section of the first rolling surface is designed such that the rolling elements are at least partially relieved of the load. The first rolling surface is provided on a separate first rolling surface part in the form of a profiled element having a substantially constant cross-sectional shape, the first rolling surface part is situated in a central longitudinal section at a distance from a first body of the first assembly, and is supported on the first body on both sides in the longitudinal direction next to the central longitudinal section.

A linear unit having a main module unit and a drive unit in which the main module unit has a housing with a table part that a drive belt is able to move in the longitudinal direction; the drive belt is wound around a drive roller, which is connected to a drive unit, and around a freewheeling roller; and the drive belt is connected to the table part and is divided into an upper span and a lower span, and a guide element is situated on the base leg of the housing and is able to separate the upper span from the lower span.

Linear unit

A linear module has a rail with a longitudinal axis, a table part, and at least one linear guide device; the at least one linear guide device has a main part embodied so that it is integrally joined to the table part, two end caps, and at least one endless roller element circuit. The length of the table part measured in the direction of the longitudinal axis is greater than that of the linear guide device and at least one end cap is accommodated in a recess of the table part; the recess is open toward the underside of the table part and is delimited by the top surface of the table part, by at least one side wall of the table part, and by the main part of the linear guide device.

Linear module

A linear guide device, comprising a guide rail; a guide carriage displaceable on the guide rail and having at least one rolling body circuit with a circulatory channel for rolling elements and including a running channel, a return channel and two turnaround channels. The guide carriage has a base unit and at least two circulatory assemblies with at least one rolling body circuit and configured to be separate and interconnected only via the base unit. The guide carriage also has at least four recesses with orthogonal end faces, with two end faces on each side of the guide rail pointing in opposite directions.

A linear guiding unit comprises a guide housing (10). Inside the guide housing (10) there are provided linear ball bearings by which a carriage (40) is guided. Moreover, a pneumatic drive (56) is accommodated within the guide housing (10). The pneumatic drive comprises a cylinder cavity (58) inside the guide housing (10). The cylinder cavity (58) accommodates a piston (60). The piston (60) is movable along the cylinder cavity (58). The piston (60) is connected with the carriage (40) by a flexible rope (74). This flexible rope is sealingly passed through cover walls (66) of the cylinder cavity (58). The rope is deviated outside the cylinder cavity (58) and is fixed to the carriage (40). A cover belt (90) different from the rope covers a longitudinal opening (31) of the guide housing (10) through which the carriage can be connected with an object for common axial movement.
