A tool transfer device for displacing one or multiple tools, in particular bending tools, in a guide rail, includes: at least one longitudinal push and pull transfer device for displacing the tool(s), a channel for a supply line being formed in or on the push and pull transfer device, a receptacle including at least one, preferably spirally extending, guide for retracting the push and pull transfer device, and at least one supply line, a first section of the supply line extending in the push and pull transfer device channel. The invention describes a bending press and a production device and describes a method of operating such a press, including a workpiece handling device and including a central control device and a workpiece positioning device with a first arresting device and with at least one further arresting device with arresting fingers which are adjustable in an X axial direction extending perpendicular to a bending plane for positioning a workpiece on a first bending tool for a bending operation between the first bending tool and a second bending tool that is adjustable relative thereto. The arresting device has a carriage module and a finger carrier with the arresting finger, and at least one drive means for the adjustment of the arresting finger is formed by a servomotor activated by means of a measuring and controlling circuit of the control device.

Bending press with a workpiece positioning device and an operating method

Manipulation device and production system

The invention relates to a separating device () with a manipulating device () and with at least one carrier support () with at least one stacking shaft () for workpieces () disposed on it, in particular metal plates made ready for a bending operation on a bending press, and with a gripping mechanism () for removing the workpiece () from the stacking shaft () and transporting the workpiece () from a pick-up position into a transfer position. The manipulating device () and the carrier support () are positioned relative to one another by means of positioning means (), and at least one fixed positioning space () for the carrier support () is provided in a reference position of the stacking shaft () with respect to the manipulating device ().

Separating device

The invention relates to a safety device (), in particular a beam-emitting and beam-receiving device, for a manufacturing machine (), e.g. an edging press, with at least one retaining mechanism () for the safety device () designed as an adjusting mechanism () on a press beam () fitted with bending tools () in a tool mounting device ().
