A pocketed spring assembly comprises parallel strings, each string joined to at least one adjacent string. At least some of the strings have springs of different gauge wire and some of the pockets of the strings having springs of different gauge wire are spliced together. At least some of the strings have springs of different geometries and some of the pockets of the strings having springs of different geometries are spliced together. At least some strings may have end sections with springs different than a middle section therebetween, the springs of the end sections being firmer than the springs of the middle section.

Method of making a continuous string of pocketed springs

The aim of the invention is to be able to arrange or secure an elastic nozzle in a device, especially a casting machine, using simple design measures while allowing the nozzle to be quickly replaced in the device using simple mounting steps. Said aim is achieved by a connection piece () which is particularly suitable for securing an elastic nozzle () in a casting machine. The connection piece () preferably has a hollow cylindrical shape and includes a securing mechanism (), especially a thread, at one end. A clamping unit () is connected to the connection piece (). The connection piece () and/or the clamping unit () has/have a receptacle for the nozzle (), and the nozzle () is connected to the connection piece ().

The invention relates to a valve flap () for producing a casting machine valve (), in particular for installing into a casting machine for casting a flowable substance, in particular a liquid substance with suspended solid particles, such as chocolate for example, in which cocoa particles and sugar particles are typically suspended in a molten fatty substance that has cocoa butter and milk fat to a greater or lesser extent. The valve flap is designed such that a valve can be produced with at least one other valve element, said valve consisting in particular of at least two valve flaps () that are preferably identical.
